There is bleach in the dye to lighten your hair. I googled it a couple years ago after using this brand since Highschool 😂 I’m closet to 40 than I am to 30. Whew I’m up there.

I am 10 months in and my hair is still not complete loc’d because of my hair texture. I think to myself at times that whenever I do decide to let go of my locs that I will do a chop instead of a comb out, plus I’m so tender headed 😫I want to experience the freedom! I know it’s freeing. I also admire woman that have real low hair cuts and with even shorter hair than yours because it represents boldness to me. It shows that your not afraid to have short hair and defy the so called beauty standards! I saw your other video of your cut and it looks good. Props to you for doing what you want to do!🥰

I have this type of hair and started my locs weeks ago. I was feeling myself on sunday and went to xhuch without a wig and oh did i make a mistake? They made me feel like , locing my hair is the worst hair decision for me but i am convinced that i really want it so am committed. I will probably do wigs to chuch for sometime until the hairbis properly locked cuz am not ready for the negative talk about my hair

Hello from Spain! I have similar hair texture, and starting semi freeforming 3 months ago, I would like to ask you about the gel, I have the yellow top mango and lime gel, because the order was wrong, and can't be returned...should I buy the black top one? for difficult to lock hair? Thank you in advance and thank you for your content! Congrats, your locs are gorgeous!!

I loved this because I just started my locs September 1st I've been wanting to start the journey forever, I got passion twists over the starter locs for now because I just wasn't feeling how I looked with the starter locs since my hair is fine, but you have me excited to stick to it for the first time and trust the process. Love your locs thanks for sharing the journey! I feel many of us with same texture hair get told the same thing!

This hair pattern is just like mine in regards to the lumpy bumpy wavy/curly however your hair is softer in texture. I’m on my 4th journey of trying before taking them out. This time I haven’t taken them out and won’t because I love low maintenance and I’m determined to stay for the end result this time. I hated lumpy bumpys as I call them and thats why I took them out the other times! I realize due to my hair texture it’s impossible to stop the lumpy bumpys so I am relinquishing control over trying to stop them from doing what they will do, lol..seeing your hair videos gives me hope that they will become more uniform and less lumpy bumpy at some point for the most part. Some people like this look because it reminds them of goddess locs but I like them to be without the bumpys, lol. Maybe I have some form of OCD so this is forcing me to let go and be patient.
@floraolivia115 ай бұрын
@@AfrocenteredLife yes I couldn’t agree more with you! Definitely let go and know your locs are unique to you. I was 3 years 😂in thinking my hair was still locking due to the lumps in my hair but then realized that’s just my hair texture

I just combed out mines. I had over 100. It took about 10-11 days. I did a few a day otherwise I’d get frustrated and rip my hair out! Use lots of water and conditioner it’s so much easy with them. Just pace yourself-set goals each day of how many locs you want to comb out.

What is the best loc method for 3a-b hair?! I want to loc my hair but leave the curls on the end but I read micro locs aren’t the best for this hair type! I also want a more gird like style, Does anyone know!?
@floraolivia11 Жыл бұрын
Hey hey, my sister loc'd her hair and left her curls on the ends. I would do the coil method and style it in barrel twist for starters. Your curls at the end wont really matter until your hair begins to start budding then I would make sure you aren't twisting your ends during retwist.
