Y'all can save plenty of $ if you dedicate a bit of your own beef for the meal (I had 50# of roasts cut for 1 of my daughters wedding), clear out the shop and rent tables and chairs instead of an entire venue. A buddy of mine hung white / clear Christmas lights in a new shed his Dad had built, and they still use them to help light the shed. It's really not about what you spend, it's about making the lifetime commitment to each other. May you be blessed in your future as a family.

i had to take a trip today from green bay to spring green got routed down hwy 60 . I came around a curve thought to my self boy that farm looks familiar sand pit behind look at that calf barn and the pulling tractor trailer knew you guys were down around that area but was suprised to see it. My cousin took a go pro and mounted it to a huge bottle of fireball so when people were taking shots they did a cheers to them and passed the bottle around!! The video turned out awesome!!

Get in your car and drive to Nashua, Iowa to The little Brown Church. It's cheap and even supply witness and will take pictures as well. Then have a reception at The Shop. Problem solved. My wife and I have been married for 22 yrs. Work Hard And Save Your Money.

Buy a good camera and get a good friend to video the wedding [Dalton even] they know who is important and who isn't. Pictures are rarely looked at but nice to have a few but 1500 will buy you a package of what need. Spending a fortune on feeding a bunch of people is ridiculous, it cost me 12 grand in 1992 for 250 people. Looking back i shouldve just roasted 6 big turkeys and a couple barons of our own beef done up with the fixings supplied by 1 of our local fund raising groups cuz seeing so much of the catered meal in the garbage still makes me sick today. My father in law supplied the booze which was 5 grand basically down the toilet for a bunch of alcoholics who just got loud and made the nightbabout themselves.

Ok.. I'll tell Avery how much I want to see your wedding on your channel. Not...No offense, but I won't watch it. And for you, it's never going to change. It will be exactly the same every time. So you will watch it once or twice, and then what? Money wasted. Sorry, but you're being a brat Emily. So many "I"'s in your conversation. I, I, I, ...Why does it have to be so extraegant? Like Avery said, you can film it with a phone. You can have several people videoing at the same time and get more than one shot of the same thing at the same time, which a videoagrapher can't do. Then put them all together and edit it, and it will be as nice as anything you want to pay someone a bunch of money to do. Have your friends, a nice ceremony, some good food, and cold beer, and everyone will enjoy it, and you will all be just as happy! It's an important day, but it's just one day. The days that count in your marriage will be the days that come after the wedding. Concentrate and work on being happy all of those days. Those are the days that will count. And you won't need an expensive video for that. Good luck with your wedding planning!
