I will say, Spag is not as good as commentating games when sitting next to Tasty Steve. He kind of just makes noises and states the obvious like "the damage". Steve will call out moves and combos, which I appreciate because it helps me understand what's going on under the visuals.

If Spag was trying to go for hype factor in his commentary just due to the height of the event then it’s inevitable to be outshined especially next to the Hypest Man in the FGC. But Spag does better normally when he does the analytical commentary when next to a color commentator; doing short explanations to why certain moves work as they did in the moment/ the technical strategic jargon
