Legitimately might have quit fighting games (started with SF6) if I kept myself in other fgc circles. The clear headed opinions kept me playing the games amongst all the exaggerated hate and I'm having a great time.

The amount of early as hell bots is insane. That Blazblue popoff I saw in an FGC discord and knowing the story makes it an even BIGGER OOF LMAO! As someone that lives a state next door to combo breaker, it's the one major next to Frosty Faustings I've wanted to and technically can, go to. That smell is a VERY big factor for me though. Like, I KNOW we're fighting game nerds but have some fucking decency. We can't tech or parry B.O. that's a full combo we have to hold until we create some distance. Have mercy. For your fellow players and attendees.

This was the first Combo Breaker I attended and it was a good time. Compared to other conventions I've been to, the smell wasn't nearly as noticeable and I was really surprised by how "open" things were. No crazy traffic, no suicidal pedestrians...all around just chill. I will go back for sure.

I almost forgot Combo Breaker was on, ended up watching it all weekend and staying up until like 4am every day to catch as much as possible. I really loved the SF6 pools and top 8. The commentary was great and the top 8 was hype.

This was my second combo breaker, i had a ton of fun, was on the ggst stream on friday, and did 14 different games, got 9th in among us arena which was genuinely the highlight of my weekend

I've been to four Combo Breakers now, but I've only gone for work. I was allowed to leave my booth to compete in a game or two, but for the most part I was there to help run a booth and commentate. So this year, I resolved to party, and I was under the influence of substances the entire weekend. If you can keep your belligerence in check, I recommend it, the vibes were immaculate.

The positivity is a huge thing for me But the number one thing is your ability to both comprehend what is going on with a character or in a game, and then break it down in a way that I can actually understand and make actionable You and Romolla were the first two people I ever found who did that, which was really important and helpful when I was trying to learn guilty gear And you still might be the best that I have found at that

my only complaint about CB was the rennaissance motherfuckers overbooked the damn venue hotel. I had a full reservation and they didn't give it to me, I had to stay at a shitty hotel 2 miles away. Event itself was amazing though

I get that if you understand that "population" as "the people of the nation" that she's supposed to serve and protect then it's an excellent personal motto corresponding to her character, but it still feels a bit clunky tbh ( i'm polish)
