Yo i was playing this game again recently afterwatching Deadpool 3 now i learned some combos and moves from that i haven't realized it existed before thanks for letting me know keep doing more fun stuff like this ,wolverine's roar with your combos is just perfection

I love doing the wolverine roar. The game's special attack are so good and have lot of combo utility. I really love it!

After ground pound when you hold the grab button Wolverine would 360 toss enemy which is fun😂

Its really fun to do, I really liked 1:38 how I used the 360 toss to knock the two Elite Commandos to tree spikes. One time I was lucky and didn't manage to capture it was I did a 360 tossed an enemy into the cement mixer/griden and the guy got shredded lmao!

It is an absolute melody of cinematic brutality, love this game. Combat is simple to semi-deep based on move variety and environmental setups, slightly creative too!

I know this is what canonically logan is suposed to be but danm this game is brutal, not only because of the violence alone but because of the guys screams and what they say, you really fell like you're killing human beings instead of mindless drones

Word! The game really got that right, and I think its a creative but easy to implement idea that a lot of AAA games don't seem to implement. Like when you lay an utter beatdown on bosses or mobs, have someone acknowledge and react to it. I think that's gonna make a lot of No-Damage Stylish runners really happy.

True which is why I am gonna stick with this game. The leaks had any mild hope of enthusiasm killed. It's going to follow a water down Markham approach which is a shame

I have seen the PSP/PS2 version of this game, it was also quite cool with combos and stuff.

really this is som kind of ludo narrative dissonance here, like why this guys block the atacks in the cutscenes but not in the actual gameplay?

I suppose you are talking about the first enemy. They actually do block your attack mid string if you do too many light attacks. Which is why I was going for the parry to disorient them a bit and using slams and uppercut which doesn't give them a chance to block

Word brother, they could have improved upon this gem of a game's combat. Hell just could have updated the graphics with the same combat. But guess what we are getting another Arkham clone with shallow combat.

@@ComboSpartan Wow, buddy... you clearly do not know what you're talking about. Let me inform you. One. It is obviously not an arkham clone becuase it has a combo system... and i mean one that's very similar to origins. Two. What we saw is beta crap... we've seen mechanics that weren't truly finalized yet! And, to say the least, there are obviously some other mechanics that they haven't developed yet. Now... here's a breakdown of what their combat system has to offer for us at the moment. Again. They have a combo system in place... Light and heavy attacks for ( 🟥 ) and ( 🔺️ ), yatta yatta. Hold ( 🟥 ) or ( 🔺️ ), though? You'll deliver a strong attack. There's a finisher, too! One that's a bit seamless when the enemy is low at health. I forgot which button it was, but it leads to wolverine brutally stabbing sucka's... especially at the head. I do hope they deliver animations that'll lead to us limbing a sucka's body part off... especially from the body. There is a lunge attack! But it doesn't have as much depth compared to origins, though. Like, being able to throw enemies or doing a cool move. It doesn't have that yet, but i definitely have hope that they'll do more with it rather than making it a simple lunge attack. There's a grab mechanic... but for now? We can only: 1). Pick up stuff like bottles, boards (For protection also), and other stuff to either throw them at the enemies or to hit them with it. 2). Picking up swords like a katana to utilize them for combat purposes. 3). Being able to pick up enemies ( like in origins ) to use them as a meat sheild! As well, to throw them at other enemies *OR* towards objects to kill them ( also like origins ). At the moment... Idk if we'll be able to repeatedly stab sucka's to death while we're grabbing an enemy. I also don't know if we'll have a mechanic where we can deliver a finnishing move within this grab. But i have hopes that they'll deliver upon those things at the end of its development. They're very much ESSENTIAL to the Wolverine experience. They have super attacks... I know the spinning move is there, but idk if the torpedo joint has been made yet... hopefully they'll deliver it on the final release. I have no comment on air combat, but there is hope that they might possibly deliver upon that! They have a jump button. And they are delivering enemies that can fly... so yeah, there's hope. Now... what about defense? There's a dodge! You can either pefect dodge, or dodge normally. Idk if we'll be able to dodge over our enemies that could lend us behind them... like in origins. But they have a similar move in the Spider-Man games, so they might include it. Possibly... Another thing they have is a roll mechanic to get out from scenarios that have too much heat... you can slide as well whenever you're running, so that's cool. They have a Block/Parry system. Now... when you parry? It's similar to the parry from ORIGINS within an animation standpoint. But it functions differently. Instead of countering with an attack. They utilized the parry system to deliver a literal LIMBING system. Within the middle of it's pause! Aim at whatever limb you'd like to chose, either Left/Right arm, and press the attack button. You'll chop that sucka's arm clean off. At first? You'll have to damage it a couple of times to actually chop it off, but you see the vision. Idk if we're able to aim at the head, body, and legs... but i hope we can in the final release. *Ya' see...* Their combat system is not so shallow afterall... ya'll sucka's really need to chill out when it comes to underestimating them. And look deeply at stuff when you can't understand them. What we saw was beta. Not the final thing.
