It insn't called Devil May Cry of the Spiderman series for no reason. They didn't need to go so hardcore for the combat but they sure did. I even love the web swinging in Web of Shadows more. I really miss how you could point your LS to extreme left and right and he will do a quick turn like this, and there are so many more things. I think having two sets of suits having completely different move sets really added to game's variety. Plus I love how the enemy remain tangible even when their health is depleted letting you continue the combo for few more hits. I wish more games did that, because I hate when enemy die mid combo or before the finisher. When you do long combo on them and they die on the finisher it just makes the combo more cinematic. However even though Insomniac's Spiderman pales in combat there is still some crazy stuff I have been pulling off in the game as of late using what I learnt from Web of Shadows.

It wasn't ahead of its time, it was right on time, especially with the web strike (the single best addition/ improvement to the Spider-Man game mechanic arsenal since Spider-Man 2 web swinging). Future games just didn't expand on what it did right (in fact, they actively regressed with it. The web strike may have been broken in WoS but every future game's solution to it was not to design the game around it but to make it ridiculously weaker). A more difficult Spider-Man game with WoS speed and combat mechanics would be insane. The gadgets are cool but they can't match WoS.

Yeah man, I saw the latest game all the game looks visually cool. But if the combat has more combo focus then it will be really amazing. Like in the Spiderman PS4 what held me back, was the same ground attack. It was always the same string, with either a slide under or an uppercut. Although I have seen some great gameplay by skilled folks like Sonic Symbiote who use a lot of gadgets to make quite the cool combo. But it would be nice to have much more diverse range of attack. But lets see I am planning to play it, as far as I know the story will not dissapoint. Have to play it in order to know how it feels.

ikr, probably the only entry in all Spiderman games which has a fleshed out wall combat. And a unique suit switching funcationality with access to completely different moves in both the suits. I love how you can use this to create move variety in combos and make it really cool looking. Truly is the DMC-Spiderman of all Spiderman games we have till now. Not to mention the web swinging momentum was really great too, it was hard as well which made web swinging flawlessly around the city really mentally stimulating and rewarding. Although story wise Spiderman PS5 is great and the combat is great too, but this game will always be the best spiderman game for me.

Absolutely, I give higher priority to Great Art Style which is timeless than Graphic Fidelity and Realism. Old spiderman games were not realistic but fun, and it suits the universe because its based on a comic book. Spiderman Shattered Dimesion, Spiderman PS2 and Web of Shadows have always been my jam for Fun Spiderman Games.

For sure, I think they took a lot of inspiration from Web of Shadows and people's complaints. They added the tether web swing when making a quick turn that you could do in web of shadows. They added special attacks L1 + Square/Tirangle/Circle/Cross which was lacking in the previous game for variety. And rehashed the gadgets to a move based utility R1 + Square/Triangle/Circle/Cross. The only thing they need to expand upon is the ground moves and we are almost there.

@@chuviis3508 I grew up with spiderman games, comics and tv shows. I do understand where you are coming from, that is spiderman isn't supposed to be a hand to hand brawler. However, the latest version of games hand to hand combat is really lacking. If I use gadgets combos and variety can be created. But my personal style, I don't like to rely on gadgets too much except for web-based gadgets. But tazers, gravity bombs and other super techy stuff, it just doesn't feel like spiderman to me. Now I do agree, there have been comics in which Spiderman was too techy so those are not far fetched. But I would rather rely on webs, web based techs, agility and hand to hand. That's where its the most fun for me.

Fr there is a huge Vacum in the market for these type of Old School Hack and Slash games. Now we have generic Arkham Style gameplays and Cutscene Simulators. This game was so much fun from combos to swining, voice acting was a bit meh but the story setting was good. But these kind of old school games are getting few and far between. As most games these days are becoming a way to tell a good story rather than a game that is fun and replayable. A game having good story is a bonus but not at the cost of fun and replayability with tons of cutscenes and walkie talkies.

Yeah man, I don't like their focus on gadgets. Which is why when I played Spiderman PS5, I played it using aerial combos, hand/hand for ground and air, using only web based gadgets like web zip and web grenade to give the combat a less "go go gadget" vibe and more of a OG spiderman vibe which I grew with in Fox Kids and the comics.

@@Leo-mj1mt Man I am so happy that they took inspiration from WOS. Did you notice the parry as well as the power wheel. That's very similar to WOS where you had L1+Square/Circle/Triangle/Cross for different power attacks for each suits. Also the tendril grab into ground slam is quite similar to one of the meter/power attacks in WOS. I am so hyped. Also I am quite excited for Peter's new web swinging style. I want to see how its changed compared to the first game.

While I do like the combat of the insomniac games, I’d love to see something like web of shadows in the future. Maybe without the over the top effects though. I especially love how this game’s combat is like something you’d see out of the Todd McFarlene era of spider man, crazy and exaggerated poses and action that really push the art and anatomy of spider man.

I think that's a great idea, kind of like a blend of Web of Shadows with the modern games. While being fairly realistic yet also taking artistic approach to visuals and combat. Spiderman 2's Web swinging with swing assist off seems great. I think they have taken a lot of inspiration from web of shadows. The Spiderman PS4 although had great web swining. Spiderman only struck a few limited poses after swinging. Now they have added new animation of spiderman doing cool poses while swinging, as well cool poses leaving the swing. Add to that the trick system. This was something that I missed in Spiderman PS4. But now resolved. I kind of like they have swing assist disable feature as well. I do however think that the combat is bit too Arkham style which I am not a big fan of. I like to have more Move List/Combination heavy input for different moves and combos like the old school spiderman games. Like for example his ground attack is the same square combo string. You can do upercut and slide unders. Gadgets to create more variety. But it needs more expanded movelist. Like you open a move list and there are like 50-100 combinations you can try, the old school kind. They always are so much fun. Because of the possibilities.

Although my first spiderman was the OG Spiderman PS2 with Stan Lee's awesome commentary, which has a special place in my heart. However this game, is probably the most fun I had during college days playing it on and on with my friends who were all spidey fans. The swinging and the combat still holds up and is just as much fun.

@@crisschan2463 X-men origins Wolverine, Web of Shadows and Prototype are some games that have very different approach, yet share the same DNA when it comes to having fun. And I agree, A prototype remake will definitely elevate the game. I tried going back in but it looked dated, which is one of the downsides of comitting to a realistic approach to graphics. But game is still fun nonetheless. Web of shadows never feel old as well as shattered dimension because of its art-style and comic-esque graphics and approach to combat. But if Prototype is remade, the game is gonna look so good.

Indeed, this game was ahead of its time. The gameplay was fun, creative and had a lot of replay value. Especially the idea of two suits having two different moves and the ability to switch between suits on the go was just genius. The gameplay was rich because of that, it was prehaps the only installment with extensive wall combat. Which makes sense for Spiderman, you can even do combos starting from ground then air and then wall. The only area lacking was corny voice acting and bad PC port otherwise this game is a banger! And one of the best Spiderman Games till date.

I was in stitches when I pulled this of the first time. I couldn't believe that a games combat mechanics would allow a boss to be manhandled like that with juggles and aerial combos. @@spadok0 Yup definitely, I enjoyed the red suit moves more due to its low damage and more flashiness that can lead to longer combos. Which is why I used black suit moves as seasoning to my combos to give it that kick, while the combo still being red suit heavy.

I think I even like the web swinging that this game has to offer over Insomniac's Marvel Spiderman. It feels so smooth, fast and fun, definitely needs more skill to be badass while swinging too. @@ExtremeGameplays1 Well I am not saying the combat doesn't have variety it certainly does with the gadgets. But from what I have seen the melee combo strings they are only 2-3. I am not talking about air strikes, grabs. But the basic melee string remains the same. I have seen so many combo crazies for the game (yes even GBG's even though he played it amazingly) but the melee hand to hand ground combat of the game didn't woo me that much which is a big thing for me. Although I do get that you can create a lot of variety by flying around using grabs and air strikes, gadgets, etc. And spiderman barely fights on the ground its just a minor complaint as all the previous spiderman games had it, but all in and all it seems like a great game and I am looking forward to play Spiderman PS5 when it comes to PC as I don't have a PS5 yet.

Wouldn't that be something, I am really excited for Spider-man 2 Myself. I am playing Marvel's Spiderman PC right now and I miss a lot of stuff I was able to do in WOS. Although I will do say this, there are a lot of stuff that really impressed me in Spiderman PS4 and lots of Stuff which I really liked in Spiderman WOS. One thing that I missed big time was how in Spiderman WOS you can swing and hold the jump button and Spiderman will increase the tension on the web and he is launched so much higher and so much faster. I really liked how Spiderman PS5 added air tricks although it was expanded much more in Miles Morales, but at the same time I really missed Spiderman WOS web tricks. Like based on certain angle and position and Suit, Spiderman strikes a unique pose while Swinging WOS. They need to incorporate different poses or tricks while swinging/Swing Animation. Also I really loved the quick turn in WOS like if you web swing to your extreme left or right, he will change direction in such a fast cinematic way you can see that here 2:39 (You do this by holding left/right direction and holding web swing and Jump then he does this) . The only way to do that in Spiderman PS5 is web zipping left to right. There are some aspects of wall interaction I really liked in Spiderman PS5 like running along the wall, quick turning while running to the other side of building, zip to point, jump of point. But I miss how in Spiderman WOS you can just hold the jump button and he will stick to the building striking a pose. There are many more stuff that I can go into details about but who wants to read that, anways thanks for checking out my video and dropping in a comment. It's understandable why *some* of the combat and mechanics wouldn't be like that in a more "realistic" Spider-Man game but at the same time, if there was some sort of upgrade system where you could go from a "normal" (I guess) Spider-Man to a Web of Shadows level Spider-Man (even with the switching suits mechanic since Venom seems like he'll be in the second one. It might not work out that way though 🤔), that would be amazing (pun not intended). Also, pendulum swinging. Pretty sure this is the only game that does full pendulum swinging (and maybe SD and EoT but those aren't open world).

Because the focus wasn't on d*ck measuring contest for who can make the most realistic looking graphics because they were limited by technology so they were forced to make a combat system that was fun and graphics followed an art style approach rather than a realistic approach. It's really fun. I played the game when I was a kid so I still did some cool combos. But now that I am an adult with much better sense of combos structure and choreography after having been exposed to hack and slash games. I can appreciate the games combat on a much deeper level. What I found was the most pleasantly mind blowing thing is that the game allowed you to disrespect bosses by juggling them. Like it's hilarious and badass at the same time. I remember combo locking venom in juggle and was just losing my shit. Indeed, I really liked the approach to combat as well. The suit witching added a lot of depth. And the it had a lot of punches and kicks along with webby attacks and we're not all just webs. Plus the only spiderman game to have wall combat. And you can have a single enemy go from ground combos to air combos to wall combos and it blended seemlessly. Also I liked the toughness to master the web swinging, it wasn't automatic which is why mastering it felt satisfying and worthwhile. Also the momentum after a long swing was really captivating and amazing.

I am flattered, and you have no idea how happy and glad it makes me that you enjoyed these combos. As for Spiderman2, I haven't gotten the chance to play it yet. I am in my hometown where I don't have access to my PS5. But I will be back probably 11-13th and then I will probably get the game. Can't wait to try the game, the swinging is definitely an improvement. They worked on some of the key areas I had a problem with. Like Spiderman only did poses when you leave the swing. But while he was swinging he didn't strike any poses. Which web of shadows had. But now Spiderman 2 have that too. Also web of shadows had the quick turn while swinging that when you point the stick to right or left suddenly he would do a cool swing to change the direction. They added that as well (previously he could only do that on the wall, which was cool too). Combat is more refined from earlier, I can't wait to try it.

Absoletely and that is a great suggestion. Because even in harder difficulties I think enemies had almost the same health as in Normal (or a tad bit more). I like how DMC solves this problem. Because when I was new to the game and my combos were like 7-10 hits I liked Devil Hunter difficulty more but as I got better at the game and my combos naturally lasted for like 20-30 hits Son of Sparda became my go to.

This is some awesome gameplay I just got web of shadows on pc and for some I can almost never pull of the web twist when I do a web strike every single time I do a web strike crush what’s your advice

I remember struggling with that, I think the key to landing it consistently is not thinking about it from a timing perspective but from a distance perspective. Like how far spidey is from the enemy before he lands on them that you press the button, which makes you do the web twists. Also spidey does a handful of poses doing web strike, remember each pose and each pose will have a slightly different timing/distance in which you need to press the button. The easiest one to master is probably the web strike when you are close to the enemy and spidey kicks him away to web zip, I would suggest practising on that move first. Like the one I did here 0:32. You don't need the special attack just make sure he is really close for you to web zip and spidey will do that kick. Its the easiest web strike to master the web twist on. The far away web twist need a lot of timing, which you will develop over time.

You have to hold the attack button for longer. One version of it is he punches enemies side by side as you can see here 0:22 if you hold the attack button longer then he charges his punches even more and does that attack. Its something you also have to attack in the red suit aerial combat skill tree

Naah I downloaded the pirated version of the game from oceanofgames. The game is so old that you cannot (would be very lucky to) find a physical copy. If you are a Xbox owner you can probably download it from store. But you have PC and PS3 no way to get it. As PS5 store doesn't have it, PS3 store is offline for years and you can't get it on steam/epic games on PC. This game and Xmen origins wolverine that game is amazing and you would be lucky to find it anywhere on any store or pc or physical. I try to support the games as much as I can but in these two cases there is just no way or next to impossible

Well i have downloaded a lot of old school games from that site. However anti-virus software does detect the crack as a virus although it's not. If you are not familiar with what a crack is basically a program that makes the application/game accessible. Since ideally a game can't be copied and played due to company putting security features to prevent piracy and the game being played for free. So every pirated old game has crack. Nowadays the crack comes pre installed on the pirated downloads. But I think you can search KZbin on how to download and play Web of shadows you will get a lot of guides. It has a active modding community on pc and lots of fan of the game so you can easily find the steps to download it.

I haven't played it to give my judgement on it, but once I do I will give my opinions. As for marvels spiderman ps4 although not as rich as wos combat wise but it's fairly good with gadgets check out sonic symbiote. If you prefer a rather non gadget or web specific gadget focused plays check out my marvels spiderman playthrough I did especially the kingpin mission that's when I got the combat down. It was fun but I had more fun in wos overall

Eu concordo, o sistema de combate era incrível. Estava à frente de seu tempo o fato de você poder trocar de terno no meio do combo, sem falar que é a única parcela do jogo Homem-Aranha com Wall Combat. Além disso, a navegação na web neste jogo é divertida, mas desafiadora. Eu odiei que no Spiderman PS4/5 eles balançassem a mecânica basicamente segurando o jogador com a mão para facilitar. Às vezes parece que o balanço não tem impulso suficiente. Mas serei honesto, esperar que uma remasterização deste jogo seja uma ilusão, isso nunca acontecerá. @@TR58699 Not sure about you I have been downloading games from there over 10 years never once I had a virus in my syste. Also, the crack (to crack the application) is detected as a virus but is not really a virus. Anyways download at your own risk. For me personally I have never had a issue with virus from that site. Have downloaded over 100s of games from that site for round about a decade. Also no matter which game you go to any cracked games (usually the older games needed a crack, now it comes pre built in the pirated games which you can find on Fitgirl). But sadly this game is not there in fitgirl

nice combos, the game would've been perfect if aren't the tons of gamebreaking bugs. And no newgame+ which is kinda sad, you can just free roam after beating the game.

Yup, the port for PC was poorly done introducing a lot of bugs and such. As for Newgame+ I found a save file which allowed me to play with all the moves unlocked from the start. It comes really close to NG+ but yeah would have been nice to have it by default. Also, glad you enjoyed the combos and the video! Cheers!

After watching the initial reveal trailer for SpiderMid 2 on the lamestation 5, my expectations soared. With the game set to launch on the PS5, I anticipated mind-blowing graphics and an unparalleled gaming experience. However, what we received was quite different - it seemed like copy-paste animations, graphics reminiscent of the PS4 era, and a combat system that felt all too familiar. It boiled down to repeatedly spamming one button for punches and kicks, with no nuanced counter mechanics or the breathtaking slow-motion Matrix-style sequences I had hoped for. Instead, there was merely parrying, and it made the game feel overly easy. I had yearned for a challenging adventure, something akin to the difficulty level found in God of War, where two hits could mean your demise. But alas, it felt like the game was tailored for casual gamers who happened to be Spider-Man fans. The absence of advanced web mechanics, the inability to swing with both hands, and the lack of signature moves like the iconic loopy loop from the earlier Spider-Man games were noticeable disappointments. The combat lacked the dynamism of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, where you could ride on opponents and execute impressive slow-motion web strikes. Furthermore, there was no wall combat or running down walls, which seemed like a missed opportunity for an otherwise promising title. It was disheartening to see such potential underutilized in the game's development, making me wonder if they could have pushed the boundaries further. As a fan, I found it challenging to reconcile my enthusiasm for Spider-Man with the reality of the game. Comparatively, Batman Arkham Knight offered superior gameplay, graphics, and overall gaming experience. It felt like I was inadvertently being a biased fanboy. However, it's worth noting that with the advent of PC mods, the game might eventually become more enjoyable, even with its current graphical limitations. Upgrading my monitor to 4K and incorporating graphic, web, combat, difficulty, suit, and gadget mods could potentially breathe new life into the experience. Another issue that gnawed at me was the voice actor for Miles Morales. His high-pitched, squeaky voice was grating and disruptive. It made me yearn for a more fitting voice that would enhance the story and dialogue. Perhaps they could have invested in a voice actor who resembled Miles and exhibited a more mature tone, similar to what we saw in the animated feature "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse." Such a change could have vastly improved the overall immersion in the game. I had heard buzz about the game, with claims like "you won't be able to tell the difference between cutscenes and gameplay." Frankly, it felt like marketing tactics designed to build hype, rather than a genuine reflection of the game's visual quality. My expectation was to witness graphics on par with God of War or Horizon Zero Dawn, fully leveraging the capabilities of the PS5. To my dismay, the reality fell short of my expectations. It's absolutely embarrassing how it's the same animations combos, swing animations, takedown animations,😂😂😂 It's crazy how I waited so long and I bought a PS5 and once I saw that initial reveal trailer I saw that the combat was unchanged. The same five hit combos, the same dodging moves, the combat speed is way too slow. You have to speed it up like the Arkham games. It was fun because he punched super quickly and you felt the blow up every punch. The sound effects sounded like gunshots that's what made it interesting. In this game with the power of the PS5 you could have increased the combat speed a bit more. You were too lazy to add new combat animations. That's just pure laziness. Sony focus mostly on story didn't give a shit about refining the gameplay. The symbiote is so weak compared to Web of shadows. The combat is way better there. The combat is lacking here I think this is the worst Spider-Man game in terms of combat. In the last 10 years😂😂 It's unbelievable and in certain cutscenes it looks like a PS4😂😂😂 power of the PS5 my ass😂 now that I know what I'm expecting the next game is about to be the exact same😂😂 I'm not expecting anything different nothing revolutionary at all. I know I put my hopes up way too high only to get disappointed once again. This is a joke of a franchise if Rocksteady, rockstar, sucker punch, Santa Monica made this game the graphics gameplay would have been a billion times better instead of focusing on story the story ain't even all that. Only thing Sony cares about is selling as much copies they don't care about nothing else that's why God of war had the same exact gameplay nothing changed only added a weapon didn't do anything different like stealth gameplay, jumping mechanics anything different to mix up the monotony of the shitty boring story.😂 The actual fact that the symbiote has the same exact moveset of the red suit is absolutely mind-boggling. They have web of shadows the best Spider-Man game with the best combat as a reference all they got to do is copy paste those animations It's not that hard pal. If you compare side by side Spider-Man PS5 combos animations combat versus Web of shadows is a clear difference. It's like it doesn't take that long to do as well. I don't understand why they just decided to ignore it. It doesn't make any sense. The combat is essential for a game where all you do is punch people swing around chase people web them up do the same thing over and over again like the fact that he punches the exact same way the combos are the exact same way is making no sense I can't explain it I don't understand cuz I really have no idea what to say I'm speechless. People be waiting 5 years for copy paste. But what's this budget even for them? The voice actors, animators, writers, advertising, etc.. It just makes me sick to my stomach because it's not worth buying a PS5 for just one game You got to be stupid if you decide it's a good purchase. I swear to God I predicted that the Metacritic rating would be a 91. And lo and behold it is a 91 but with Web of shadows combat it would be a 95 100% guaranteed. With this shitty ass combat it somehow got 91. With all these glazes talking about it's the the best super game ever. Nope Arkham Batman still got that shit. Better combat story, dialogue, bosses,. Spider-Man got better graphics sort of? It's actually looks like shit It's a PS5 game but it still looks bad I don't know why. So you can't even say it's the best. The ability to make web parachutes my boy you copied the slingshot, the charge jump, but you can't copy a day and night cycle, switching between your red suit and your symbiote suit on the fly you decide to make it a suit power so it would lose its effect because you used to symbiote powers on everything. It appears that we might have to wait for future console generations, like the PS10, to witness Marvel's Spider-Man truly achieve commercial trailer-level graphics. The current state of the game, while not without its merits, leaves much to be desired, and it's a reminder that even beloved franchises can sometimes fall short of our expectations.

I read your whole reply and I can tell how passionately you feel about this game. And you encapsulate some aspects of what I feel about this as well. This has been my biggest complaint about Marvel's Spiderman PS4/5 titles. Even though I find the Graphics to be good, but not ground breaking. Honestly I don't care about graphics all that much, I give more weightage to the overall vibrance and artsyle. Also its a given, that Insomniac's focus has always been on the Story and to some extent visuals and not that really into combat. Atleast GOW/DMC-esque kind of combat with lots of combination-style button inputs which are very fun to play. Take DMC/GOW for example you press triangle and square in a sequence you get different combos. And then there is L1 + square/Triangle/circle/cross. Then you add the aerial version of those moves. Same with DMC where each weapon itself have so many moves. I don't know why you praise Arkham's combat system at all. To be honest it was the Cancer that has infested these style of games, Assassins Creed and Spiderman latest games. Which basically boils down to the same square mashing combo strings into a finisher animation, get the streak going, counter, roll over, use a few gadgets. Ofcourse at the hand of Stylish player you can still be creative and come up with Cool Stuff. But its not just as much fun as that of a proper Move List Type of Combat System like GOW and DMC is. SIFU is a great example of modern game which does emulate that, and I had a lot of fun exploring different combos in it and using the execution animation as just a cinematic way to end a fight. Like a Kung Fu Movie. That being said this kind of games are getting few and far between these days. And most AAA Titles focus more on Story and "Accessebility". Not that its bad, but so much focus goes on Story and Accessebility - by making it so easy that even any joe can play it well. That its not as rewarding for Pros, or even Game enjoyers that considers themselves like Casual gamers (Me) who just likes to enjoy combat/replayability over other elements in the game, enjoy the feeling of getting better at playing the game by replaying it many times. Accessibilty is the biggest thing that is now ruining the soul that game used to have. Sure every now and then there are few very refreshing games that come out of modern times. But those are few. Insomniac is the last AAA title you should be surprised by what they are doing. They have stated in many interviews, "We want anyone to pick up the controller and feel like spiderman" is what they are going for. Hence their Combat Systel and Hand Holding Web Swining mechanics. I have never once picked Assassins creed after AC3 (which I enjoyed) but the soul of it died with later titles. They are still producing the same repetitive garbage year after year. And look they won game of the year. So how can you blame them for coming up with more. Same with Call of Duty. Every year just the name of the game changes, rest remain the same. In the Earlier games of Spiderman, especially web of shadows it was hard to master web swinging, which was why it was fun to do. Combat is again the old school "move list" focussed. Rather than Arkham style attack button in succession to get exectuion animation few counters and finishers. And gadgets. The only legit and fun way I found that you can play the new games is to use gadgets and juggles a lot. As spiderman I am not a big fan of gadgets, espeically the non web focused gadgets. I don't its just doesn't feel like spiderman. I like the web grenade, or web based gadgets. But like the anti gravity and stuff like that, that's just too techy. Not that I am saying spiderman Canonically isn't cable of that he is, but I just don't like to rely on gadgets all that much and like to use webs and throw some hands and kicks haha. But that's me. As for miles morales, or any teenage focussed superheros in general. I don't like them, I just don't know what it is, I just can't stand them. This is a bold statement considering Spiderman in essence is a teenager. But I grew up watching Raimi Movies, were Spiderman was grown up. Or the Fox kids Spiderman where he was an Adult. Almost most iteration of Spiderman that appeal to me have been adults. This has always been the case. I hate tom holland's spiderman version. Although his spiderman does have a few good moments here and there. I didn't even like Ben10 and many of the kid focused super heroes even when I was a kid. I hated Pokemon. I liked DBZ. The only teenage characters I liked were Naruto and Beyblade, is because it was a story of them getting better at their craft, cool characters but most importantly they were original characters. Miles Morales if he was a standalone diferrent super hero I might have enjoyed him for his struggles and character development, but I have never seen him other than an other version of spiderman and not the real spiderman. But that's how it is. Overall I stand with your feelings on the game. But at the same time, I know what to expect from this Insomniac's version which is mostly a Story and Accessibility focused approach which I can still enjoy to some extent. A few improvement to the combat system, which to make the most out of, I will be using lots of powers, gadgets, juggles, web zips, setups to play it as stylishly possible. But that's about it. Incase you are curious how my take is in the modern spiderman game. Check this video, I am not the best (certainly not in the level of Sonic Symbiote and few other youtubers who have been making the most out of the combat with gadget use. Else I just stick with my list of games and try to better my playstyle in those games.
