you know what i want to see you do one day? making a a heat reflective technology like Omni-heat within the blanket. so you can get more warmth than just Apex

What is the advantages of having the osni on the outside vs. the inside? If I hang the poncho with the osni liner attached; in the morning I only have to untie the poncho ends with the osni still attached.

I think having it as an underquilt would give you more warmth- trapping air. If you are laying in it, it is compressed. Tho this insulation is Apex, not down, you would still get more warmth. With down, you would get significantly more warmth as an underquilt as opposed to laying on it.
