being a quan chi main has become such a rewarding experience since patch. it used to feel kinda miserable but man these buffs were perfect. hot take probably, but this quan is probably my favorite character in a fg ive ever played man

How do you get the bone dome so full screen like that?? When I press forward right before I press 2 it still only goes moderately past mid screen, it goes nowhere near as far as yours.

@shujinkydink , Great video man. I've been labing Quan for like 3 weeks and still get my ass kicked especialy by Smoke and Peacemaker. My favorite combo is Jump-In 1,3,3,jump1,3,Forward 2,1 no power meter. Or, jump-in 1,1,3,DB3+block,3,jump1,3,Forward 2,1

Don't use bone trap after combo. From full screen is jumpable on reaction and from close range is interruptable on reaction. Khameleon might be a better Serena for Quan chi due to having less highs, faster meter and more versatility, and Serana's meter drain scales with Quan's meter drain (it's almost the same without her).

She most definitely works lol. Guaranteed meter drain when finishing combos w stomp or tentacle/catching characters that can't really deal with bone cage, cancelling strings into either single or double dagger to catch people trying to either poke through or punish. Plus he gets some pretty chunky damage without using meter. Not sure how you're playing the team but before I switched to Sub, Sareena was the main kameo I used for him

@shujinkydink imo sub is his best cameo. Does everything Quan needs. Amazing setups into armor portal, zoning setups, and ice shield to really make your zoning even more oppressive. Also guaranteed launches with purple portal skull after freezes, gimmicky vortex in the corner as well. Sonya and lao are probably his next 2 best choices

@Mechsickan never said she didn't work. She works with quan like she works with the rest of the cast, she doesn't do anything unique with quan nor really caters to his archetype. She works, but she's just kinda the auto pilot brain dead pick.
