People have asked about Cazimi... Essentially, classical astrologers divided combustion into three intensities, and two phases. The three intensities are: 1. on the fringe of combustion 2. deeply combust 3. exactly conjoined with the sun the two phases are: 1. going into the sun 2. coming out of the sun for a total of five varieties of combustion: 1. entering (on the fringe, going in) 2. disappearing (deeply combust, headed inward) 3. in the heart (exactly conjoined)

Thanks very much for this. Question: Up to how many minutes would you consider "Cazimi"? Does this vary by the speed of a planet? Otherwise Saturn will stay Cazimi for a longer period than say Mercury.

it should be within 1 degree, is the basic rule. The latitude/declination also has to be considered. Classics say it should be an exact declination conjunction, with 17' leeway. This is practically impossible, so I take that 17' as the extreme apex of a cazimi. Anything within 1 degree latitude or so I would also hold as cazimi, as long as the longitude is also within 1 degree. It doesn't vary by the speed of the planet, because it is an effect caused by the sun, not the planet. Saturn will not stay in cazimi longer than mercury, because the Sun moves. In fact, mercury may stay longer than Saturn, if it is moving the same direction as the Sun (which it usually does).

Wow Vic, what a wonderful session!! Japan is a very Saturnine nation, yes it truly is... People working all the time, perhaps the hardest working nation on planet earth the only nation where we find very elderly people working in the nights!!! A country which is famous for longest life span... Elderly people everywhere!! So much of Saturn energy everywhere, a country with great discipline, respect, obedience and time management. I live in Japan too, I admire crows so much and coming from India I see crows all the time there... But the sheer size of crows here in Japan was shocking to me, it's like double the size of the crows I have seen in India, also the total black color another Saturnine indication!!! Vic Dicara Ji, I liked your interpretation on combustion of the planets, they loose their identity in the proximity of the bright sun and like consultants they don't enjoy direct power but will have influential power. Second high light was debilitated planet explanation.. I do have a question on this how to interpret when you have a planet like sun debilitated in Navamsa does it represent self or spouse especially if it debilitated in Navamsa Third one was about Atmakarakas references in your chart how they all come together as one single image through different pieces of information. Love it !

Thank you Padma. About your question, the interpretation of debilitated planet in a varga chart should of course be framed in context of the theme of that varga. But look at the house, etc. of the debilitated planet to get more information. Please don't make the mistake of thinking that navāṁśa represents spouse. It is the varga for dharma, not spouse. Marriage is a prominent aspect of dharma / dharmika saṁskāra, that's why navāṁśa's 7th house, etc. are important for marriage

That's fascinating. I have Sun in the middle and ME is retrograde in front of the sun - so running back to the sun and MO/JU-Conjunction behind the sun. They running into the sun, too. Seems like an attack from everywhere against the sun.... My father died, when I was a year old. So no father figure in my life and I never was married. .... I was born one day before new moon- so Jupiter makes an unseen moon bigger..... am I wrong or could it be that I don't exist. 💥

Question Vic: When you say Venus will always win due to its illuminary brightness--were you referring to just Merc (and/or other planets) --but what about the Moon? Doesn't the Moon somewhat 'hurt' Venus when conjunct? I know it has a lot of positive qualities as well--but also heard it can hurt some Venusian qualities as well. Is this bc the Moon is brighter? (at least in this case--its one sign away from fullness)

Moon doesn't enter into yuddha (war). Only the five star-planets fight with one another. I know Ryan Kurczack has a video about Venus and the Moon, but I haven't watched it yet, so I am not sure of his rationale.

Sir, if 4 plantes in one house, lowest degree holder is rule or highest degress holder is rule? For example , my venus 00:06, mar 03:52, mecury 09:32, sun 27:52, as other teacher said lowest degree holder carrying other , so lower one rule, but u say higher ground north planet rule. That is surely an option. What you can get from the video is that you first have to know your options, then you have to "call other witnesses to the stand" to figure out which of those options is more significantly manifest than the others.

Amazing, Vic! I think you know your astrology well! Now I see why I'm emotional, expressive, and considered very strange. I like being different and strange, to some degree. However however much I try to fit in, it never works--the exact opposite of my brother; he fits in perfectly. Most people would consider my religion, my beliefs, very strange, although it's supposed to be a well-accepted one of the USA. I dress, or used to, mostly "normally," and still do to a great extent; I act, or think I do, like most people. At a young age I wanted to be accepted but different. I'd rather not fit in, and unfortunately live in a German community that has a lot of rules for behavior and expects what I consider sameness and conformity. In my D1 I have Saturn in Jyeshtha rising with a Rohini 7th house Moon in a Dhanishtha, 3rd house Sun; you completely and totally mirrored my [or, Saturn's] intention towards that decrepitly dimming and cunty, Sun 🌞 👀 ☠ working through getting over a betrayal trauma; so I can dry my tears, and grab another hot pepper from the bucket 🌶 then lament again after I taste it; because I'm still looking for that utopious, `sweet pepper` (I paraphrased that, from a Thai story about a Buddhist partitioner that keeps mindlessly grieving).
