Combustion Efficiency Testing

Wohler USA and National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) partnered to create a video that focuses on Combustion Efficiency Testing.
This video will show you how to adjust an oil burner for safety and performance using efficiency kits.
This video will give you step-by-step instructions on how to test combustion efficiency using both a manual analyzer, or a wet kit, and a digital electronic analyzer. The main difference between the two is that manual testing takes more time and gives you a less accurate reading of burner performance. Electronic analyzers are faster; they sample continuously, and you can see the results change as you make your burner adjustments.

Keep that wet kit to verify the accuracy of the electronic tester and to keep as a backup if the electronic tester goes wacky. Those electronic sensors are not trouble free folks..
