Comcast CEO Brian Roberts introduces "It's Businss Time" performance by Flight of the Conchords' at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

You've got to realise that most of their songs were designed to be pretty improvised. If you watch many of the different live performances of FOTC on you tube, no song is performed the same twice. They are a comedy act, and in this context they change up the song every time to keep it fresh, or to suit their audience. They are still absolutely fantastic!

Wow. Did that audience actually have a pulse? I can maybe understand them not getting the humor of the intro, but I cannot comprehend anyone being able to sit through all of Business Time with just a few polite chuckles. Even if you don't speak a word of English, just the singing style alone is hilarious! ZOMBIE AUDIENCE, RUN GUYS, RUN!

They were probably nervous. I remember when they did a little show in Aro video store, down the road from where my uni is. Going from that kinda low-key stuff back home, to all this big TV stuff must be pretty scary for them. And he came back pretty well from that screw up with the bath/bedroom thing.

apparently you couldn't really hear the audience laughing, but if you check out the other videos of this performance that audience is really laughing. I thought they did great!

yeah they have a show on HBO, first season just ended, its 20 bucks at walmart. They have tons of songs from the show, and past concerts, etc. They are awesome. Many videos are on youtube.

@eveybeavie Yes and No. It's a compact full scale guitar that looks like a 3/4.. He uses a "La Patrie Motif" You would expect that it sounds sharper, but it doesn't.. Great guitar!

the microphones were addled, i turned mine up loud and i could hear the crowd faintly.. i think the crowd was a decent one, maybe just not the perfect crowd. and who wants to play at some electronics expo anyway? i thought the bit before the song was hilarious. and jemaine's cover-up was dead-pan perfect, even got bret to crack a smile. psh! they're just tired of playing that song over and over, i don't blame 'em. i thought it was a good one!
