When my mother was young, they were with eleven children (but unfortunately 3 passed away at ages of I believe 2 and 3 years old), but I think your video's remind her of her own happy childhood with a warm and loving family. Hi Amy thanks for your suggestion to me about how know when the Lord is speaking to me. Yesterday (Sunday here) I was just having a hard time getting motivated to go to church, and i kept hearing a little voice (not literally) saying you need to get up and go to church. I kept ignoring it cuz, I’ll admit it) I was feeling lazy, but I remembered what you said, and I got up and went to church, so glad I did, fellowship and blessed learning.

"If you don't feel like it, I don't care. Just do it!" Lolololol...thanks Amy, good motivation. Seriously, really is. I appreciate the encouragement and reminders to just start somewhere, somehow. One month in, and I'm feeling better. My diet still has a long way to go, but it's a process. One step at a time, and exercising was the easiest place for me to start. Rare fast food, compared to every day. Rare sugary drinks. Still working on the sweets cravings. But again, thank you for the encouragement to make changes.

Watermelon skin, with a little of the fruity flesh left is great to put out for birds to snack and get liquid in the heat. We put it on bamboo poles or the branch ends of trees, so they are away from our cats. Yes, it means going and removing them after a couple days, but it gives them a boost in hot weather! I also used to give a piece of frozen watermelon (the pink only) to my previous dog, to chew up when it was hot. He could safely eat the flesh, but also benefitted from the cooling properties.

With 7 cats...we have zero birds lol. My brother had given us a bird feeder and we put it up and for 2 years not a single bird seed gone. I hear them but they stay away:) Yes maxine likes watermelon too.

I love that you tie your health back to your Faith!! That has been the biggest help for me when losing weight. I've put it on hold for a little bit during this pregnancy, but still trying to watch the foods I eat for nourishment, and not getting my joy from food only. I'm hispanic and we eat raspas, (pronounced rah-spas) which is shaved ice, and that watermelon sorbet would probably taste even better with a little sweetened condensed milk over it. We pour that over shaved ice and it just kicks it up a notch and tastes amazing.

The Make a Mix cookbook is a favorite for our large family. The chocolate chip cookie recipe is great. Makes a lot of cookies with only one bag of chips. We never store any like the recipe says. The buttermilk pancakes are good too!!! Great cookbook!!!

So precious about Evan and his obvious love for the Lord. Without a doubt that gives a parent so much joy watching them let the Lord use them! My son was a youth pastor at a church last year but had to leave because he didn’t agree with what was going on there. He preached every Wednesday, taught Sunday school to the teenagers and sometimes would preach on Sunday. Thankful he has found another church that is great and he has started working with the teenagers there. Waiting to see what the Lord has in store for him here. I had never heard that son New Wine. My son worked for two summers at Camp Toccoa in north Georgia. He absolutely loved it. He went there with some of his high school friends to be camp counselors. I hope Evan enjoys it as much as he did. It is said to let them go but he is a very responsible young man. It does pull at your Mommas heartstrings.

You can put Un popped popcorn back in the microwave and pop some more of it . I do all the time. The freezer pops you could put another tray of them on top of the other one if you have room for it in your freezer. They freeze just the same. Save you space and you can make more of them at once.

I liked your illustration on small changes and it’s like a ship. I heard a similar one at my church once where they talked about how those huge ships have very small rudders\motor and those small rudders can turn those massive ships where they need to go. You can make popsicles out of your watermelon mixture.. All kinds of fresh fruit can be used to make sorbets& popsicles.. Mixing fresh fruits are great too.. Just try a tiny batch of mixing fruits some combos do not taste good together.. GOD BLESS
