@@davidkennedy6208 I've only played the original and wanted to get Outlaw, but since they're going to be an Epic exclusive, I'll be waiting till it's on Steam or GOG. It does look good, and a vast improvement on the first. They're on YT under Rebel Galaxy, and they have a few videos with the devs actually playing the game, and talking about what they're doing with it. It's very cool. Just glad I bought Elite. Been playing it in VR with VoiceAttack. It's pretty much the game I dreamed of 30+yrs ago! I've been playing X4:Foundations as well as Elite. It's different, but fun. And soon we'll see The Outer Worlds, so there's that to look forward to. I'll be sure to check out Tom Cook's soundcloud. Thinking about it, the music sounds a bit like Clutch too!

That being said, I believe you and the other "big" elite youtubers should just put the game down until Frontier decides to actually make something worthwhile. I would have participated in the recent Distant Worlds event if I had more free time and higher patience. A little under or a little over 40 jumps is all I can handle before I call it a day since I have a habit of when I jump into a undiscovered system I have to stop and find everything before jumping out.

You should consider signing up as a tourist. I'm a tour guide (Krait MkII with dual SLFs, which really are the best for sightseeing!) and I'm disappointed that nobody seems to know about the tour guides. Long story short, you can multicrew with other people on the expedition for a couple hours. This way people don't have to make the trips themselves but can still see some of the sights. Join the discord and make a request. I'd be happy to finally have a passenger!

I'm sure that would be the best fix to this, but by the time I can save up for a good computer, I would already be in university, and I will have no time for anything but to continue my studies. I love Elite Dangerous, but because of my performance not once could I enjoy the true beauty of this game. yes, I am still saving up my money (I already have a lot in the bank, only set towards future education). when I get enough, the first and (probably) only thing that I would spend it on is a Celestron NexStar 8SE Computerized Telescope (along with the upgrades to make it much, much better than it already is). thank you for your suggestion.
