Oh man I have a 6yr old son and it’s definitely a challenge to get any game time in those early years. This reminds me of a truly rag-tag band of space-crazed independent Commanders jumping 30kLY together. I remember eagerly waiting for 5 o'clock to roll around and the stream to start. The next two hours were spent in shared mundanity (is that even a word?), yet sharing in the mundane made it enjoyable. Of all the time spent in this game, the brightest memories are when we Jumped Together...

Even before the crime and punishment patch, I rarely saw a Commander doing anything sketchy to another, unless at a community goal. Jump into open and enjoy it, it's not nearly as bad as it's made out to be. Or find a good private group such as Mobius (PvE only) to join. o7

Beautiful. Honestly, just amazing work. Nearly 500,000 light years traveled and this was almost enough to reawaken that old explorer in me. I do miss that life, leaping out into the howling dark, with nothing but your mind and the heavens around you. Centimeters of metal protecting you from billions of miles of cold void. Reaching out over the horizon to see all the infinite wonder that truly lay out, ready to be seen. Oh do I miss it so. The pure utter joy from finding another soul in the black. I Imagined that this song would be the end of Elite Dangerous. All players gather in 1 system, choose their own system for the jump, or one that Frontier Developments will advise. Some may follow the others and each of them goes to their own future of this wonderful game. Everyone is jumping. At the moment of the jump, they are thrown into the main menu, the Frontiers close the servers for an indefinite period and in the future they could possibly present a new sequel to the Elite Dangerous, which will become known to the whole world and possibly absolutely win the competition of Star Citizen ..

Someone says that Elite Dangerous is already dead, but while the game is releasing new news on the galnet, some updates, patches, whenever anyone plays the game, and according to only one Steam Charts, there are players in the game 3 thousand each, then we can assume that, taking into account online and through other official stores where the game was purchased, there may still be the same amount. But one thing I will say for sure is that no matter what condition it is in, no matter how online it falls, about a thousand people will play it, regardless of its condition. Yes, there will not always be such an online presence when something really bad happens to the game that means the game is over, but at some moments, the online will reach that same thousand people who would decide to go into the game for some reason. some nostalgia, etc. And the number of people who will be in the game for a very long time, regardless of innovations, etc., whether they exist or not, then they just like to play it, are in it, and it doesn’t matter what the game has there will be no updates, for example. After all, they will continue to play it anyway, because they are devoted to it and for some it is, consider it, a second life.
