Hi Robin, thanks for the heads up on the fibre cement panels. I have a client who has had an extension built & the finishing brickwork leaves a lot to be desired. He has asked us to remove the existing outer leaf & rebuild it. Not the easiest of jobs, apart from the poor quality of the finish the previous ‘builder’ has failed to prop the catnic lintels whilst doing the brickwork and or not given the masonry above sufficient time to set, resulting in bowed catnics. Various other issues including bridging the dpc with mortar & sill that is bowed & installed out of level. I am going to suggest the possibility of using this cladding system, (if it is feasible) instead of the expensive exercise involved. Cheers & we are still in business in DFW, ( Dallas).
