Do they charge tax on rent and what’s the leasing process like? I’m in Wisconsin and we pay a security deposit which is equal to the rent. Is it the same there?

When i was looking i found some places about 30 min outside of the uptown area , more like northeast of the city around 1000 . Hope that helps ☺️
