I love videos like this! I want to read The Mayor of Casterbridge soon. I can’t attest to if it’s a good starting place for Hardy since I haven’t read it yet, but I usually recommend Far From the Madding Crowd as a good first Hardy. So if you don’t like Mayor, give that one a try!
