Frankenstein is one of my top classics! Raymond chandler is so good too. A lot of the classic film noirs are based off short mystery books like that. The Maltese Falcon and Double Indemnity are so good so if you like The Big Sleep check those out :) the LA Candy novels are cute there's only 3.

Yes! We have been planning an unhaul video where we go to little libraries but we have been waiting until we each had a decent amount!!

Very cool! Our library has a little Friends of the Library room where they always have books for sale. Hardcover starts at $1 and goes down from there. We recently had a big library sale and they did bags for $5 or boxes for $10, no individual pricing. I made out like a bandit. But yeah, there were those annoying resale people with their apps going beep, beep.

I once got accused of being a reseller because I use a scanner to check if I already own a book. It makes a checkout beep but I do it because I can’t remember if I’ve already got a book 😂

I never do library sales anymore. The ones in my area are 3-10$. That’s a lot. I usually go to goodwill…1.39 for hardback and 1$ for paperback. Habitat has a $5 full your bag. And I always go to a local thrift that is 1$ any book

PROJECT HAIL MARY: when you start it... do NOT get overwhelmed by science or math in it... just skim over it and get back to the regular text and it'll all get explained in a practical way while they USE the science of it all. -- hubby almost DNFd it but pushed thru and was like "that was amazing..."

AHH I am so excited for this 1:45 I'm dead lololol 4:35 I really enjoyed this story in school! I just wished I hadn't been FORCED to read it 6:44 "M-eye-er" is how it is usually pronounced also, great book!
