I totally enjoyed the way you go slowing with the camera - this way I really get to see things I am interested in. Also like how you show diverse styles - elegant and country --- If one cannot go to Paris - if feels good to watch you doing what I would love to be doing myself. Thanks for the treat.

What a treat during my lunch time. I grew up in the country and live in a city. I will move back to the country once I retire. Luckily, I have a large yard and don't see much of the neighbors around me. Some would say it's a bit overgrown, but I like it this way. I need green and lots of birds. I liked hearing them on your video. I get upset when people cut their trees. That is the trend here. Cut everything and build 3 or more townhouses to make as much money as possible. So definitely country girl at heart. That's why I love your videos. ❤

Oh we enjoy hearing from you very much! I imagine there is an abundance of green where you live. I’d love to see the forest there. We appreciate the continued support!

Beautiful shop! My home is full of French treasures even though I,m in middle America! I love the city for short visits to shop and dine in nice restaurants but love my small town country life ! ❤️

Born and raised in a very big city and lived and a few different big cities… left the city as soon as I could to raise my children in a very small municipality outside of a medium sized city, in the country side we get more space, beauty and lot of peace and quiet. The children are adults now, have left but we are still here. I think most cities are very depressing, decadent, expensive and extremely oppressing. Cities are totally overrated and they usually smell bad.

Thank you for sharing with us. Is there something you miss about city living? For me it’s the accessibility of new restaurants. 🍝

😱Oh no, you didn't! 😤 Avignon that you referred to as being the village where the Paris shopkeepers' mother gets her goodies is a city of 450K in its urban area and has a hugely important past. 🧐 It was the seat of the 7 popes from 1309 to 1376 (when the papacy returned to Rome) and as such was the center of Christendom and one of the most important places in Europe. 🤓 You love antiques; therefore, you should know about history! 😜

Justin has visited, the ville/city/town is still on my wish list. 💫 BTW- I get confused with my words sometimes following a major car accident. I meant to say “VILLE.”

@@Frenchcountryfriends No worries, the only time I've been to Avignon, 12 years ago, it was so hot that we said ciao to the Pope's Palace and all that medieval BS and my mom drove us to a rental chalet in the Vercor Valley where we stayed in the AC for a week.
