If a shampoo foams up it doesn’t mean it’s bad it just means that it’s got chemicals in it and contains SLS which stands for sodium something sulphate (sorry I don’t know the full thing) the common thing is that a shampoo doesn’t need to foam up for it to work like people think it does x hope that helped I’m not a hairdresser but I do know this ❤️

my grandad is in a care home around the corner from where i live so i cant see him. we took his christmas gifts over yesterday and saw him through the window so a carer brought him to see us through the window and he was waving and blowing kisses it was so special. on christmas eve im going there again same thing waving through the window in my santa onesie with a massive sign that says merry vhristmas grandad and staff hoping to make his and his carers days :)

Hair care brands put a thing in shampoo to make it foam up to make you think it is washing your hair better, the foamyness doesn't actually do anything it just makes you think it works better. when i dyed my hair brown on top of my bleach blonde hair a couple years ago i stopped using sulphate shampoos and started using shampoos specifically used for coloured hair to stop my dye from fading!

I’m a hairdresser and when a shampoo foams up a lot it means your hair is very clean which is why when you shampoo twice the first one doesn’t foam up then the second does,love ya x

Yes omg olaplex is the best thing I’ve bought for my hair, I used to use no 3 and you we your hair, then leave it in for 10 minutes then wash it off then use shampoo and conditioner and atm I’m using no 6 and you use it after you’ve washed your hair you just use a little bit and rub it in then blow dry and omg my hair is in such good condition xx

the foaming in shampoo isn’t the worst for the hair but it’s also not good like a lot of people think :-) a lot of people will say “oh this lathers a lot so it’s a good shampoo” but that’s not the case at all- it can sometimes just make it easier to get the shampoo distributed better though
