the issues with using all the gears with that setup is many gears are overlapping, or under. That truck in a tractor, you are operating the motor, and using the gear combination to go a certain speed with a certain rpm. The throttle on those is either off or on, exactly like a farming tractor not like a pickup at all. The truck isn't happy outside of a certain rpm. It'll shift incredibly awesome if its where its supposed to be. It'll slide into gear perfectly. What motor do you have?

The steering in your logging truck is it OK or is it worn out to the point where you have to turn the wheel three times to get it to move over an inch. I’ve never seen a vehicle steering wheel as loose as that before. I’m not complaining, but I am sort of. I think you edited out too much on this video.
