Im happy you tried fishing for the 1st time. Thats an addiction thats perfectly ok to have. Your children will always remember the day you took them fishing. Nice job. My parents never fished but my grandfather took us fishing every weekend. 50 years later i can still remember catching my 1st fish.

@@TheMeekWay Between the us of Spinnerbaits, Swimbaits and my favorite....a Texas Rigged Worm, you should be able to pull in a few Bass. Spinnerbaits will trigger any sub- surface bass, Swimbaits or Crankbaits will trigger mid-water Bass and fishing the Texas Rig will target shallow Bass or Bittom Bass. Fish around visible structure, fallen trees/laydowns and stumps for Bass waiting to ambush baitfish.
