I LOVE that term god reliant. I think sometimes we are all thinking I have this and we don’t look to god for all of the help he has for us

Thank you for being God’s instruments in my life to allow the spirit to fill my heart every morning as I listen.

I hear what you say when living God reliant . However . I live in a place where many need to be taught how to live self reliant ! To live within their means, to not be completely dependent upon the church to take care of your personal needs . Many want , instead of living within what they have . Finding the joy whether poor or rich , many live without of their means . Needing to learn self relaince . Trust in God is the base . And know he is & will be there as along as we do all we can for ourself

I agree with your comment! I believe the term self-reliant is definitely needed. God reliant first and self-reliant is a close second, especially in the temporal world until we are dwelling with Him.

I think being God reliant helps you be self reliant. God reliant isn't church reliant.

The Churches welfare system is is set up for people like you. One minute everything is manageable and the next minute it's not. Don't worry, it will never happen to you.

Alma went back to the people's original concern that they felt they could only worship God at church or in the synagogue. He taught them that God knows and hears them everywhere.

Your lessons are amazing! Love listening to them every week. The teacher in me needs to point out for next time. Alma 34:14 states whit ( meaning every little thing) not wit like you have written. Thank you for making the scriptures easier to understand.

You can slow down the playback speed in the settings, if you need to. I have found that helpful for me at times.😊

Is it just me but this weeks and last weeks lesson, you forgot to mention the tender mercy for the week and put the picture on the poster. I always look forward to that moment, and the last 2 weeks, it wasn’t mentioned 😢
