David, your words about how our God is not the kind of God who leaves His children out because they were didn't get Baptized brought me to tears. Why do so many religions teach that if you don't/can't do A, you don't get B?... The transactional theory of God and His laws...and yet , so many of those said laws came from the mindsets and cultures of men. Surely, God sees the WHOLE pictures of our lives....all of us. When you clarified that, my whole heart resonated that what you were saying is true. Thank you and Grace so much. 💜

David, I especially appreciate how each week you point out characteristics of our Lord in the Book of Mormon. Often they are things i wouldn't have thought of like. "a God of again" .

Yes! I completely agree! I love seeing how my relationship with God has grown as I have begun to search for all the things that I can incorporate into that phrase. “I believe in a God of…” or “…I believe in a God who…” What an incredible way to study the scriptures.❤

I wish you knew… I wish you knew what you’ve helped me obtain over the past few years. My testimony and relationship with my Savior has become so sweet. This lesson in particular has changed me. “ If it’s good it must be of God” I have been a member of the church my whole life. I’ve never not thought the Book of Mormon was true but I’ve never had the burning testimony that it is true until I heard those word. Of course it’s true!!!! Thanks for my little tender mercy today. I just love you guys❤

That dress is all you Grace! It lets your spirit shine through for sure. I loved the teaching about High Love and High Expectations. I wish I would have listened to this before I lead our RS discussion on hope. Ya'll have so many great insights. Bless you both and your families and HUGS from the Texas panhandle.

I really enjoyed the triangle depiction in the journal--and your discussion of the interplay between faith, hope, and charity. I replaced those words in several verses with the words: trust, expectation, and love. Made all the difference in giving me new insight into the interplay between these three great powers. They are the triumvirate power of God that He liberally shares with His children to weather the storms of mortality.

Anger can lead to regret and broken relationships, but choosing love and peace brings lasting happiness. President Gordon B. Hinckley reminds us that being slow to anger is better than being mighty. Just as charity, the pure love of Christ, transforms us, replacing anger with words of love, appreciation, and respect can change our hearts. This message is part of our Come, Follow Me study this week from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-let’s strive to control our tempers and create a world filled with kindness and understanding.
