I taught someone as a missionary who had never learned about God, and his first prayer started, "Oh God, King of the Universe!" He was excited that he could send a message to the mighty creator! Thank you for reminding me to not take it for granted.

I sat in the discussions with a friend who had never prayed before. When the missionaries asked him to say an opening prayer, he said he didn't know how but he agreed to. try. We all bowed our heads and waited for a very long silence until finally my friend said, "God, thank you for the color blue." That was it.. The spirit became so strong in the room, we all had tears in our eyes when we opened them.

I have made it a point to go to the Lord first in prayer before I go to anyone. I have notice over time, I don’t even go to anyone else. What Father has given me was more than enough.

This lesson gave me goosebumps. I wish that the scriptures were in pages that you could put into a binder. As I've gotten older, my writing has become worse. I type my notes out. If I could have my scriptures in a binder and add my notes where needed . . . WOW!!! Oh, and Grace, about singing. It doesn't matter what your voice sounds like. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ would love to hear your voice. I think of the Primary children, when they sing. No matter how they sing, whether it's off key, on key, forgot words, fidgeting, or whatever. It's still beauty to my ears and I'm sure in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's ears, also. ~ By the way, does anyone there read these comments?

I downloaded and printed the scriptures so that I could get them spiral bound for journaling and art work. You could print them as you go with your note pages and punch the pages. or print the whole book and have the copy center do it for you and just put them in a binder of your choice. I love the idea of adding extra note pages!

There are spiral bound journaling scriptures. Not sure if that is what would work for you.
@nettajar193810 күн бұрын
@@lisahill186 Thanks for mentioning that. I was hoping for more of a 3 ring binder type. That way, all I'd have to do is print my notes, 3 hole punch them and insert them where they belong. Thanks anyway.

Not only were the plates friends for Moroni but I have been wondering if we became his friends. He saw us, he wrote to us, and I think he even cried for us. These last word are for us (his friends).

If you are sad they are not making a journal for next year remember the "come follow me" manual the church makes is great for journal promtes. Create a beautiful journal for yourself and follow the CFM prompts on a daily basis. I tell you that is a beautiful experience!

Like the tender mercies this year will there be anything extra like that for D&C 2025?

Moroni introduced the restoration of the Gospel through the Book of Mormon to Joseph Smith. He's the angel of the restoration. Thats why he's on the temples.
