As you talked about magnifying I had this thought. Magnifying can make something larger or bring something far away closer, but it doesn't help us see unless it's in focus. I remember looking through a microscope and the specimen was enlarged, but so out of focus I couldn't see anything. And sometimes we can magnify an image, but completely lose the most important part of it as it is now off the screen. (Think of enlarging a map and your destination is off the screen, but all the roads are more visible.) Magnifying to be effective has to be focused, both on the essential elements and focused for clarity.

One of my favorite topics in the church. I love learning about the temple and priesthood and their different responsibilities. I love studying about temple worship in the time of the Israelites particularly the Levites and their assignments of being temple workers. Love it!!!

I am 83 years old and a former Baptist minister and the son of a former Baptist minister, we both found the restored Church of Jesus Christ 51 years ago along with 14 members and 4 generations the 1st year. This Church is the Kingdom of God and is rolling forth over the whole earth. I am currently the Ward organist. God bless everyone. I heard on my shortwave radio in 1948 the restoration of the nation of Israel, a miracle and then found the true Church after being prompted by the Holy Spirit to investigate the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Later I convinced my dad to read the Book of Mormon after pestering him for 4 months. He and my mother read the Book of Mormon and was convinced it was true. We baptized 14 member of our family and comprising 4 generations the 1st year.

I watch several “you tube” videos on the Come follow me lessons. You mentioned Anthony Sweat and how he does a great job. He was on with Taylor Halverson and Tyler Griffin and gave this lesson with them. It was excellent. You 2 did an awesome job also. Surprisingly I am half way through. I didn't think it was possible.

84:4 "...which temple shall be reared in this generation." "This statement has been a stumbling block to some and there have been various interpretations of the meaning of a generation. It is held by some that a generation is 100 years; by others that is 120 years; by others that a generation as expressed in this and other scriptures has reference to a period of time which is indefinite. The Savior said: 'An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign.' This did not have reference to a period of years, but to a period of wickedness of wickedness. A generation may mean the time of this present dispensation. Moreover, the statement is qualified in this revelation in the above quotation" (Joseph Fielding Smith CHMR1:337.) 💙🙏🏻

I remember reading a prophecy made by Wilford Woodruff then repeated by Brigham Young about Boston, NY & Albany. It was in the Journal of Discourses but I must have written down the wrong reference and can no longer find it. Would anyone have a reference for this please????

I don't think there is anywhere in the scriptures where it teaches that the Aaronic and Melchezedek priesthood in the church today is somehow available to the woman in the church; I noticed there were no references. I think section 84 teaches us about the 3 orders of the priesthood that Joseph Smith taught (Teachings, p. 323-324); the highest order of the priesthood, the holy order, the fulness of the Melchezedek priesthood (taught in verses 35-41), DOES apply to men and women in the temple. I don't think we need to stretch this in order to include women, it is fine just the way it is. Verse 41 (which most people skip) shows us clearly that this is about more than just the Aaronic and Melchezedek priesthoods that we have in the church today (outside of the temple); just my opinion, based on the scriptures, that I know of, in my brain...
