This lesson about Paul’s imprisonment has just turned my attitude around realizing that being in my broken body because of someone else’s cruelty and still having great faith in my Savior has got me through the really hard times and he will continually do so as I stay faithful and close to Him. Thank you both for the beautiful messages you give weekly from the word of the Lord!

I have a grandson who is currently at the MTC in preparation for leaving for Peru. He told me that Emily came to speak to the missionaries a couple of weeks ago. He said her talk was very good and he felt inspired after listening to her. Although we miss her here, she is doing so much good in her new calling. She’s right where the Lord needs her to be, teaching about Christ to the whole Earth. God speed, Emily.

Grace, I can’t thank you enough for your story about the boy at the skatepark. My heart hasn’t been in studying lately and I was praying for something to share with my kids. I just cried when you said he was bawling about what you told him about Jesus. Thank you!

When did Grace go on her mission to Sacramento ? because I lived there between 2003 to 2015.

I was just thinking, Grace, how awesome that you and your companion were following the spirit that day and didn’t drive a car, because you probably wouldn’t have met the boy at the skate park if you weren’t on foot. My daughter is serving a mission in Maryland right now and it just made me think about her and how the Lord directs her efforts as a missionary and also, our lives. Love this!

Grace, this is a keeper: Make Jesus your 24-hour friend, not just your Sunday friend, nor your once-in-a-while friend only when needed.

Grace I admired you and I am learning so much from your stories and testimony. I am 61 years old. Thanks for your wisdom. David I loved your thought process about baking and the way we word things. “Your word is your World and your World is your word”. Another example: is the rising and setting of the sun. Food for thought…Thank you so much for all that you do. 🙏

I'm a 56yr old male and have thought that Grace came across too juvenile for me to really follow and enjoy. HOWEVER, this episode and your story of the young man at the skate park was beautiful and touched me to tears. That story helped me see you in a new light, an authentic light, and see your testimony and talent at sharing the gospel. Thank you! And I apologize for being judgmental, please forgive me. ❤❤

Dear David and Grace, I love your insights into the New Testament! Because of your teachings and the way you teach, I have learned to love the New Testament even more! You two are exactly what I needed at this time in my life! Don’t change anything, just keep being your true authentic selves! God put you here with the talent to catapult us to a higher plane of knowledge about our dear brother Jesus Christ! I’m growing closer to Him because of you!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Sending you tons of positive energy and love ❤️

Are you making a difference? For me, YES, a zillion times. Today's message brought me to tears. David. you really delivered like "7 Clouds of Thunder, Brigham Young." My spiritual appetite for spiritual nourishment was satisfied. Grace, the little kitten looking in the mirror and seeing a confident roaring lion, your voice is so vibrant and alive, you melt this grandma's heart every week as you share your vibrant love for Jesus Christ and his gospel by spiritual knowledge. Did you teach this boy again after you introduced him to Christ? This was amongst all my favorite discussions. Tell your dear mother that she taught by example and now I get to and love like I do her.

Don't worry about using the word "actually" to much. I never Even thought of it until someone mentioned it and it really is NO big deal. I love ALL your words! Not a distraction at all! Thanks for your wonder ways, both of you! I love your enthusiasm for the scriptures! ❤

David thanks for reading the scripture first and then translating it into our language. I like hearing Paul's words first then ours. Helps when following along in the scriptures.

Emily did wonderfully in conference. She didn't say, "I just love this!" one time. But it's ok cause we have Grace to do that now. But seriously She'll make a great world leader.

I found you guys in 2019 and you show me to open my ears and experience the word of God, to understand things that we sometimes don't learn. My family have a great loss and thanks to you guys I was able to find peace, to be comforted and to give comfort to my family. You guys help me put oil on my lamp, enough that Im able to keep functioning and feel the love of my savior.

Grace and David! Thank you for continuing with this. 🙏 I have loved and continue to love your passion for Christ and your desire to share it with anyone who will listen.❤️ Please be patient with your audience as they get used to the change. It’s like having a new set of ministering sisters or a new companion on a mission. It’s uncomfortable at first and then we listen with open hearts and realize that God meant for us to have a new friend and learn things only the way a new friend can teach them. You are bold and courageous with spirits as ancient as Christ’s original disciples themselves! You continue to give me such valuable insights that change my life. Thank you! God bless you for your efforts, your willingness to be vulnerable, and your sacrifice! Looking forward to next week already. PS. Great skate story. ❤️

David and Grace, another fantastic job. David, I loved your analogy of respecting the gifts we are given and talking about your son showing respect for his gift. Grace, I loved (now I sound like Emily 🙂) your skate park story. I can picture you doing that! I am truly grateful for the time and effort you put into these sessions. I have taught the New Testament in gospel doctrine over the years but your commentaries have opened my appreciation to Christ's life in the NT as well as how the church fared after His death.

I love learning with you guys. You have changed the way I look at scriptures and opened up new discoveries. Thank you!!! I remember in primary memorizing the Articles of Faith. (I was raised in the time when we had a banner with stickers we placed on the banner as we learned each one. This was in the late 70's.) Along with learning the Articles of Faith, we also had to memorize a scripture that went with each. We memorized Phil. 4:8 when we memorized Article of Faith #13. I wish I could remember all of the scriptures that were associated with each Article of Faith. I think it would be a great study now that I am older and can appreciate it better.

I appreciate your preparation, real life applications, and enthusiasm which I have watched 4 + years. I do have a recommendation for you to consider about appearance. 1. Don’t wear black shirts. It exudes evil and darkness in contrast to white - the feelings you have with colors or white are uplifting. 2. David - unbutton the top button on your shirts so it will feel more friendly and polished to your viewers since you have so much experience. The top button is usually used only when you need to put on a tie. Please consider trying out these changes as you go forward. Thanks, Peggy ❤
