Come for a bus ride with me in York.

I parked my car on the Park and Ride car park near York. There are several of these facilities dotted around the outskirts of the city. It is free to park, and if you are a pensioner like me, you can use your bus pass for a free ride into the centre. It is very convenient. The buses run about every 20 minutes or so, and the last one back is 11pm. Unfortunately no overnight parking is allowed. If you use Park and Ride anywhere else check what is allowed on their web sites. When I used it at Bath last year, overnight parking was allowed.

I really enjoyed the ‘local color’ that can only be seen through the lens of, well , A local! Very pretty ride. I have always wanted to see England since I was a young girl. I’m now 72 and have not made it yet. So thanks for ‘answering ‘ to my daydreams , unbeknownst to you ! I watched with interest ! ❤xx

It's been a while since I went to York and we parked at the P & P as we were visiting the *York Maze* for my Birthday. We took the bus into town as you'll be lucky to find a spot to park, so you did the right thing. You did good getting the upstairs front seat for a lovely clear view. Hi Illona, Pretty good video considering all the stopping and starting. Here in Ohio, when you as a driver pass a cyclist, you must pull at least 3 feet to the left or right of them when passing. It does seem to be appreciated by the cyclist. Can't wait to see York.
