Such a difference, in the states i have huge doubts regarding our police desire to return property to the owner. I am glad at least in Japan people have consideration for such things.

I really needed some Kyoto and 🌸🌸🌸 right now. I always learn something new in your videos! I feel so bad because I'm sure I've walked right under the middle of torii before 🤦♀️ But now I know for next time ⛩️

Not gonna lie, because of the virus I was scared for you watching this, wondering if you'd be okay (especially the washing your hands and mouth part). I felt so relieved when you said that it was filmed last year! Thank you for giving us something beautiful to enjoy and be safe!

Miku San I like watching you and I like your simplicity. You are so real
A bit of advice to all: if you lost your phone, just ask someone to dial your number. If the phone is near, you will hear it ringing. If someone picked it, you can talk to him. :) Anyway, Miku-sensei, thanks for nice video!!! :) Japan is really awesome!

I have this amazing story in Japan. My friend lost his passport inside Narita and you know how big Narita is. He realized after exiting. But guess what, he got it back in the help desk just outside the exit gate within like 20 minutes. Japan is Awsome.

A very nice video of Kyoto and Japanese customs. For the time being Japan is closed to any foreigners due to the corona pandemic. Kyoto is usually very quiet all the time and very reserved or conservative. in Kyoto, if we find even 5 yen we usually take it to the koban/police box.
wonderful video, thank you for all this knowledge on you culture :-)

We have been to Kyoto; twice I think. Loved the Gion District (old and full of mikos), the Gold and Silver temples (the Gold Temple was the best) and the Royal Palace and Park. When we were there in 2009, it was the Emperor's 50th year!

Hello Miku sensei. I am one of your subscribers from the Philippines. I am presently studying japanese language for my work as caregiver. Hopefully I can work in Japan in the near future. Kyoto is one of the place I really love to go someday.
Please stay inside and don't go out on unnecessary trips. Now is not the time to go out and have fun because you think you are not sick. It's the wrong message to send, and Japan is going to see a massive explosion in cases over the coming weeks. For the safety of everyone stay inside. Covid-19 doesn't discriminate, it's just deadly. I don't care if people crap on me in the comment section. Stay inside Japan, stay inside.

Last December, Me and my elder sister went to the mall and there we bought takoyaki in the store. While paying at the counter my sister put her brand-new iPhonepromax in front of the counter then we go outside the mall after 30 mins. She's looking for her phone and suddenly we remember that she put it down at the counter station. In short when I go back there.... It's still there!!!!!! That's why I love Japan!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗🤗

that honesty of the Japanese people alone is worth the price of admission. I was there in November and just left a suitcase in a corner in a VERY busy train station in Tokyo. I didn't feel like lugging it around and just decided to test if the stories were true. I came back 2h later and the suitcase was gone. Someone had taken it to the little police booth!!!! 日本が大好き本当に
I wish I could go there now, it would be so amazing!!

Just great ! i love this video and I am glad to see that you are fine in Japan . In France like in the whole of Europe we are not allowed to walk around .... Anyway it gives more time to watch your lessons and try to improve my japanese skills and particularely hearing skills which is the most difficult for me. I could catch a few sentences but unfortunately i'm still below the 50% of understanding and will definitively have to watch more videos ,so please do more videos !! i wish you the best and will keep on following you . mata ne !

this is very good, thanks so much.... I know it's a lot of work, but would it also be possible to add English AND Japanese subtitles, that would be super super helpful for studying and super super appreciated
So two bows? One before entering the gate and one right as you enter? And is this for every gate you pass under even after the first one, or just the first one?
