Come join us on our Big Adventure to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Welcome back my little adventurers!! We are going on a big adventure today. We are making our way down to the Walt Disney World Resort and then it’s on to the Disney Wish! We decided back in February we wanted to do another cruise so we did a bounce back offer and decided to go on Disney’s newest ship the Wish. But that cruise doesn’t leave for a couple days. Today we are making our way to the Port Orleans Riverside Resort where we will be spending two nights. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were in the Bayou rooms and they were themed after Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. In the morning we got my favorite breakfast in the whole wide world complete with mickey waffles. Then it was off to Epcot for the day. Epcot is by far my favorite park because there is just so much to see and do. We finally got to ride the new Guardians of the Galaxy cosmic rewind coaster and OMG it was amazing. The queue line was fun to walk through as well. We also got to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. The technology this ride uses is amazing and it is going to change how rides are done. Once we were done with rides we decided to try some of the food for the Food and Wine festival. My favorite was the fried cheese with honey from the Greek pavilion. I wish we had more food but it was getting hot so we went back to the resort for some swimming and dinner. We had dinner at Boatwright's Dining Hall. We didn’t even need a reservation; we walked right up and got a table. They feature a lot of Cajun style foods of New Orleans. It was excellent and spicy. Then we had to get beignets so we took a walk to the Port Orleans French Quarter to the Scat Cat Club. This is the only place in Disney World to get beignets and they are amazing. Today was a fun day but the best is yet to come on the Disney Wish!
