It’s nice how you opened spaces on both floors that must have been compartmentalized originally. Especially love the open staircase and how your office isn’t shut off from anything including hearing kitchen timer or smells from your cooking.

My grandmother owned a small string of gift shops in the mid 20th century. She loved everything that was crystal, silver, gold, and all things glamorous -- which meant she went huge for Christmas. She had impeccable taste -- not your average grandmother -- and I haven't seen a more elegantly over-the-top display of Christmas splendor since, until your house. Beautifully done! I am also in love with the house underneath. Those windows are gorgeous! Have you by any chance done a pre-Christmas tour that I somehow missed? And if not, would you be interested in doing that? I'd love to know more about the changes you've made, etc. It's truly a breathtaking home.

Kaleb so many of your Christmas decorations are the same we had in our home when I was little. That was in the 1960’s. I noticed in particular your fat round bellied plaster Santa’s. I can see our mantle with them and bottle brush trees, and the little cardboard houses. Thank you for bringing me those heart warming memories. 🎄🌟

Your upstairs turned out beautiful. I love that shade of green. Christmas trees did start with Queen Victoria but it was really Prince Albert’s idea. It then started to be the tradition. That table of trees and houses is so pretty, I have a lot of houses too.

What a magical house, full of love, history and tradition. I love watching Christmas videos, out of season.
