See the reason the pitcher is a genius is because when you're so used to swinging at an average of like 85-90mph, this is totally gonna screw with your rhythm... and technically he's allowed to do this! making you adapt to a new speed midgame is bound to mess up most players!

This is hilarious as someone who actually knows whats happening lol. Whats happening is when a game is so one sided in order to not use their pitchers they get other players in This case a catcher to pitch and obviously since hes not really a pitcher he cant throw it as fast lol

To explain the baseball thing, a fastball is typically a ball that strikes out people because it's too fast to hit - i mean 90 MPH on the low end. This guy is basically throwing at the lowest possible speed for it to still be considered a "fastball"

the pitcher is a position player so hes not used to pitching, usually only happens when theres a blowout. slower speeds fucks up the hitters timing

In the baseball clip the guy pitching isn’t actually a pitcher. His team was getting beat so bad that they had him pitch to save the actual pitchers arms. Hitters are used to 95 and him throwing 46 is so rare that they don’t know what to do 😂

@@SavantPete nah. You're never too old for it. And stuff like this happens not only in America, but other legislatures around the world. And it's not new. Trading - what I assume you would refer to as "playground" - barbs like that happened as far back as our Founders. Now, I don't hold our Founders in highest regard (slavery, fear of women gaining rights, genocide of Natives and stealing their land - albeit the Mongols, the Greeks, the Persians, the Macedonians, the Spainish, Russians, various Chinese dynasties during periods of unity/not being unified, and many others all did this too, we're not the first), but they were some of the wisest men of their era... and even they, as you said, acted like children. Not saying behaving that way all the time is appropriate, but if someone comes at you... hey, go low.

Baseball fan here. So when a team exhausts all it's pitching for a day they need to make sure they have some players ready to go for the next game. They'll put a player from the bench or field out to pitch to save up for the next game. Usually the player can throw accurately enough to get the ball over the strike zone. He was the option that this team had. The slow ball is difficult to judge for players because they face at the slowest a 75 mph pitch consistently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. A real good hitter will crush that ball to the stratosphere or at least in play.

2:06 you guys need to check out this one guy who has thrown the first new pitch in a very long time no one else can throw it like him it's a brand new pitch and it strikes out 60% of the people who he plays, he was a bad player so much so that he got demoted to the minor leagues and then he invented this throw and it did so well that he got repromoted to the Major leagues and is dominating
