Honestly, same. I once helped a bird get untangled from a fishing line and removed a hook from its beak. After I gave it some water and it flew away, on then I was like “damn, I should have told dad to take a picture or something”.

I don’t know how real this is but apparently there’s this innate instinct in children that if they are to spill or drop a bit of something they will either give up holding the thing and completely drop it to try again or fully commit to spilling once it begins as that is their new objective. Again, don’t know if this is real, do not have any real sources besides this one thing someone said to me, just thought it was interesting to think about.

I think those spiders are the end were a kind of harvestman that looks similar to cellar spiders (daddy long legs) except their legs are much longer. They like to huddle together but no one knows why
