Thank you for sharing the information on the dates as I have brought them many times in Costco.🥰

Good news! Those dates are not heat treated or steamed. Some of that brands pitted dates are steamed though. I just heard back from Sundate. I will post their reply I received below. :) Email from SunDate: Our dates are generally raw/not heated, including our whole Medjool and whole Deglet Noor dates. The one exception being our pitted Deglet Noor dates, which are steamed at around 170F in order to facilitate efficient machine pitting. Our pitted Medjool dates are pitted by hand, which does not require heating.

I love when u curse lol, im from NY. "Ive never seen a fcking ripe pineapple at costco" lol. I do buy my pineapples almost ripe at Stop and Shop, if u put your nose to the bottom and it smells like a pineapple and once that part gets tender it will ripen. It will get there on your shelf. If i saw the ones at Costco i wouldn't buy those either, because who knows? I am like u and like my fruit very ripe and sweet. I wish u had shown the prices at your costco im curious what a pineapple costs in your neck of the woods. Mine on Long Island are $2.50 each and thats a pretty good price here. So sorry your audio didn't get recorded. thank u for making the video again!!!!

I would be really upset about those dates not being raw, I eat those all the time in my home made salad dressings. I'll see if I can get a hold of the company in the next week or so and find out one way or another. As soon as I find out I will come back and post what I find out here. The trick to making fruit like the yellow kiwis seem more like a meal, is slicing up a few bananas and eating the two together mixed in a bowl. It's a good combination. I wasn't sure if you knew this or not, most dried fruit is dried at very high temperatures. So technically its not raw. Just fyi, in case you didn't know. :) UPDATE : Those dates are not steamed, or heat treated. Email I received from SunDate: Our dates are generally raw/not heated, including our whole Medjool and whole Deglet Noor dates. When mangosteen is hard, you can’t even cut through it. These fruits are really hard to get good quality. They cost like $17 per pound in NY and most of them are messed up. 😢 However, if you do get a good one, it tastes unbelievable 😊❤

Also when looking at ingredients look at the nutrition facts too. The ingredients may not say it has sugar but the facts will say “*added* sugars: 2%”.

I once ate an unripe kiwi. It litterally burned my tongue AND slipt the first 2mm of my tongue in two, like dried soil in a garden. It was also bleeding. I was 7 yo. I learn my lesson with the kiwi. 😂😂

@MsFitVegan5 ай бұрын
Ooooh no I have never heard of it! I do you have a brand you recommend???
@Sunnyfruit11115 ай бұрын
@@MsFitVegan Yes! I recommend the brand "medi oils" they have many nut and seed butters all organic and raw! They have: tahini, black tahini, hazlenut, walnut, pumpkin seed, almond, sunflower seed. I think these are all if I'm not mistaken. If you can't get this brand shipped to you for some reason, another one I was looking at is sun and seed but I don't have any of theirs. I think medi oils is a greek brand so it's easier to ship to me but I think if you search for raw organic nut and seed butters you'll find plenty of brands and you can be the judge of what looks good to you ❤️🌰🥜 I wanted something else other than tahini and I searched for them and I might get the rest of the medi oil butters to have for different flavors

@@Sunnyfruit1111 so, insulin resistance mechanism in the body is a natural cycle, right, to prioritize breaking down fat over fermenting sugar, if it goes above 10%. this mechanism works extremely well in me, and i break out each time i try oil. maybe the type of fat matters, as well?
@Sunnyfruit11119 күн бұрын
@@jasmyne-q7b nuts and seeds have fiber, oil doesn't. Oil in general, no matter which one, is extremely high in fat and is more acidic and mucus forming than nuts and seeds preferably raw.
@Sunnyfruit11119 күн бұрын
@@jasmyne-q7b avocado is also great, as well as coconut. Avocado I think can become quite heavy if used in excess but I think is healthier since it is a fruit and has lots of nutrients.
