Omg Renea we make pizza with the tortillas. I call it pizzatillas. 😂 They are great and fun to do with the kids! A really quick healthy snack, put a tortilla in a non stick fry pan ( no oil or butter) top with mozz, spinach, garlic, cover and cook then fold in half and eat. Quick easy and so good!

I did a Meijer haul today too. After yesterday's big storm, the sunshine made it a great day to be out & about. Found some good deals and I needed to stock up before the next big storm on Friday. But I got a little carried away and now I won't need to go again for a little while, lol.😁 Looks like the hens are making up for lost time - that is pretty impressive for one day's worth of eggs. Good deal on strawberries and grapes. But you're rich in eggs. Our eggs the other day were 3.84 a dozen. Green onions to dehydrate were .88 each bundle, but the onions were large. Wanted some celery to dehydrate, but not for 1.74. Had some salad on clearance brought that home and ate it. We haven't had much food on sale but lots of clothes on sale at Wal-Mart. I've been eating out of our pantry. We been having homemade bean burritoes.❤️🇺🇲

We had to sell our small mountain farm & move to town in 2014 bc I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, had to leave my Speech Pathology career at 44. I miss my chickens the most. Carried them around like a purse. Had more eggs then I knew what to do with. Now I buy my eggs from the Amish-3.25(I’m in PA) & worth every cent for farm fresh eggs.

TIP - If you put green bananas in a dark cold place they will last 4 weeks +. I had 5 bunches of green bananas put them in a box in my garage so it was cold dark, but left a vent hole they lasted over a month. Just perfect 👌

It's nice John stuck it out with us on this one! We had a surprise visit from the Ag Department today. Bosses day off! ha (lucky).. They got us on a few dates of salads, (one day only), undated shrink wrapped deli meat (previous day) for sandwiches, and micro specs on slicer. ha (with flashlight!) They gave the cook an education. He was miffed after they left. He did good, showed them he knew the issues of the mater. One thing I thought they said had merit was storing mostly unused tub of mashed in cooler, that it takes 12 hours to cool. As a bio, that merit. When I left their MN cars were parked half way in parking spots. And with daylight in morning lately. Where did they go to drivers Ed.? hahaha 😛 Sorry for the paragraph. -Brian

Sad to see all the single use plastic in your shopping. In the U.K. we are all trying to stop using these as they end up polluting the oceans and take a long time to break down. As you say, often they are too flimsy to use a second time. We all take our own cloth bags to the shops now so we don’t use plastic. Love your videos.

It's kind of funny to see your video because I just got home from Meijer. I got 9 of the containers of strawberries. I'm going to try to freeze some but my granddaughter loves them. I got 21 items, the only thing not on sale was a fish for my granddaughter's fish tank. I only spent $9.16 but saved almost $55. I love seeing your hauls. Does the Meijer Almond milk taste the same as the name brand? My granddaughter drinks it and it's expensive

I just put mine right in the freezer or I freeze dry mine. You can also dehydrate them. I never blanch mine but everyone has a different take on that.

Well now Renae…We have to be in Cadillac on the 20th so I guess we could come home the long way and sneak into the chicken coop to supplement our egg stash here at the Ulrich house. You’d be none the wiser IF the girls stayed quiet!!!😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣. Egg prices are coming down but not enough that’s for sure. Meijer has done a disservice by cheapening their bags and after several broken returns Hunny flat out told the store director that ALL groceries from Meijer would be double bagged or he will quit supporting Meijer. The store director said to have things double bagged. So tell them to double bag next go round. I use my store bags for spent kitty litter so I don’t need broken bags going to the trash barrel OR broken in the drive as they are slung into the refuse truck. I double bag that as well but I also use a Menards bag but they too aren’t what they used to be. Weight issues are such delicate things to talk about and address in our diets. I struggle every day being a diabetic with 3 back surgeries under my belt. I just live by the saying “a body in motion stays in motion” but some days are filled with less motion than others. Have you or any of your other subscribers (friends😉) used the keto soft taco shells? I have looked at them several times but I never put them in the cart but they feel so soft. I know if I don’t like them they will end up in the trash because Hunny can’t have salt. Just curious if anyone has an opinion on them. I have used low carb shells and they are good. Nope, Lol I went into the chicken coop to gather eggs the other day and they raised such a fit with me you would have thought I was plucking them bald. They are never quiet, you would have to bring them goodies and steal eggs when they are not looking.🤣🤣🤣
