I'm around the same size as you, thanks for showing you can still get cute clothes in Vietnam! I see a lot of videos about how the clothes are so tiny and not a lot of people showing what is available for size large. I really love the blue dress, it's so beautiful

Vietnamese people in Vietnam are very small/petite. I’m 5’4 and was almost a head taller than my aunties and most of my female cousins. I was a size S (American) and couldn’t fit in their clothes…luckily tailored/custom clothes is very affordable.

As a true plus size girly in the US, if I went clothing shopping in Vietnam, they’d tell me to go down to the home improvement store and get a tarp to wear lmao

Don't let that worry you!! It is common in Vietnam to find a whole floor that tailors clothes in all sizes. They do it very cheap, literally same price as the ready made clothes. They just cannot make the same quantity in large sizes because the country is mainly Vietnamese who have genetically smaller frame and us East or Southeast Asian countries people naturally don't get big, even when we eat heavy carbs and fried food and don't exercise. We are also very very short, so I think bottoms will be harder for you to fit into, rather than the tops. 😅

Don't worry! You will find a lot of clothes if you have the same size as her. I would know, because we look the same. But I am M in Vietnamn, noy L. So just check out other shops! If you are tall tho, or big boned, it will be hard because most East Asian and Southeast Asian countries have mostly locals living in the country, who are genetically smaller in frame(skeleton). 😊

In my experience clothes shopping in SEA countries is SO difficult. My family is Indonesian and they have very similar sizing to Vietnam but I'm 5'8, have broad shoulders, and wear a US size 8-10. The last time I went shopping for clothes there I could barely fit into the biggest sizes available and I was still in high school and like a US size 6
