As I explained in the video, I am going to be cutting back on my classroom vlogs and limiting myself to 1-2 weekly vlogs a month. When I first created this channel, I never intended to be a “vlogger”. I wanted to share all my ideas and genuinely help other teachers. While I have come to love vlogging, it was never my vision for my channel. I know so many of you love watching vlogs for the entertainment but I truly see myself as so much more than just a “vlogger”. I want to provide as much CONTENT as I can to help other teachers and I don’t feel like my vlogs achieve that. Additionally, I feel like a lot of the information I share within my vlogs is repetitive… especially since I filmed my entire school year last year and teach many of the same lessons. Instead of vlogging every week out of habit, I would prefer to just vlog every few weeks when I have something exciting, interesting, or new to share to keep things fresh. By cutting down the number of vlogs I am filming, I am able to produce higher-quality videos focused on a particular subject and therefore provide more value for actual teachers. This month, I have felt SO much happier with the shift in my channel (despite negative comments begging for more vlogs). Overall, I have to put myself and my mental health first, especially since I am balancing so many things. I am a happier teacher and KZbinr when I am not vlogging every day of every school week and therefore I will continue the mix of videos on my channel. I appreciate your support of me, my happiness, and the direction of my channel. Oh, and put your positive pants on 😉

I too totally understand why you have decided to cut back on vlogging. There are only so many hours in a day and filming yourself doing and talking about the same thing again and again don't add to your day nor does it meet your original purpose of vlogging. Your weekly vlogs will be missed but you need to take care of yourself first. Take care and best wishes as you juggle all of your life balls. May you keep them moving and may your reflexes be speedy when picking up the occasional dropped ball.

But when I saw that you put up your Time Saving Tips video, I was interested again as this is new and extremely useful in my classroom. Love the video. Science is a fun class to teach, and the way you teach it makes sense. In math, the digital escape room shows how far technology has come over the years. I will definitely tell all my teacher friends about it!! Lastly, this piece of advice was given to me by one of my favorite teachers whom I had for two years. She told me “never change who I am for others”. It has kept me true to who I am. I love the content you provide teachers and non-teachers alike. Do what you do, and let no one tell you differently!!

You have taught us that if something is worthwhile, but on your happy pants and work for it, keep going, run the marathon, give affirmation to others and smell the roses. You have also showed up that relationships count and loving your work is important. There is so much more, I can not imagine you not doing what is best for you, and your relationship. Will be a fan even if you decided never to put up a video again. I have directed so many of your suggestions to other elementary teachers because you inspire people to do their utmost. Do what is best... you go girl.! I to ALWAYS have happy pants on. Many blessings as you move forward in you life.

I enjoy your vlogs, but I also understand how doing it constantly can be tiring, especially having done it last year and as you said, teaching the same lessons... I had heard of escape rooms but in your video was the first time I'd heard of digital versions. I would think as someone new to escape rooms for the classroom in general, digital may be a good place to start as there isn't as much prep. I also love how your science experiment with the sucker and mint wasn't too involved, definitely something that can be done in any type of classroom, not just those that are dedicated science room. That gives me hope that even those who are self-contained and teach all subjects could still do science experiments with their students, as it doesn't have to be long, drawn out ones like you would typically expect in a middle school or higher science-only class with the lab and all. Also, good tip on keeping parent handouts from back-to-school/meet-the-teacher nights to give to new students as those parents would want that same information too. Cute 50s outfit! Love the shoes! Nice touch with the scarf.

+Pocketful of Primary Well Michelle , I personally appreciate the vlogs . Needless to say that a number of the things you do was never a thing back when I was an autistic student in elementary school and I enjoy how you try to add fun into education and making a time that I once dreaded into something a little more enjoyable in some ways . And yes as much as I get entertained I also get a little educated as well and insight from a teacher's point of view and I hope that my comments give you some insight in return from my days when I was a student . And yes I enjoy watching you looking so good in your teacher outfits and smiling because it brings me something more positive and interesting to look forward to in my days . Keep up with the teacher tips too and the organizational tips too because they have been a lifesaver for me as in organizing at home . I hope that the school year is going well for you and I hope that Billy and Your kittens are doing well . Peace , Love , and Celebration ! - Dwight

Something that we love about my maths teacher is he uses this system called “5L’s” if he says 5l you have to: look, listen, hands in lap etc. You have this list with your students names on and if they are the first to do it or they do it for the longest they get 1 5l point. The person that has the most points at the end of the week wins something from the 5l box-eg. Cute rubber or small toy. You also get a scented sticker which you can get of Amazon. P.S good luck with your class you seem like a great teacher xxx
