This is how we used to march in. It was my favorite time. I remember when I was little and saw my mother marching in her green and white robe. Man I miss those days at church. I couldn't wait to hold her robe after service and I never let it hit the ground while she was talking to the other sisters. So long ago. I hope this song is playing when I get to heaven. And I think this is the last time., I was truly truly happy when I was a little girl in church. I haven't been that happy ever since. I couldn't wait for the choir rehearsal

Thank you so much. I had an abusive childhood. My mother passed and the state took me and put me in a foster home. Ms. Hamilton was a daily faith attending the neighborhood church. Ms. Hamilton would walk into the church as the lead singer of this song. I am now 53 and I live my every moment for God, Jesus Christ my lord and savior. God bless you all, thank you.

Wow I'm 58 now and I got baptized in my grandmother's church when I was 14 years old because we weren't allowed to go to church. And I remember my grandmother crying and I didn't know why then but now I do cause I've been saved for over 30 years. If only I would have known about Jesus as a child it would have helped me so much. Thank you for showing this.

I really miss those days when church would start with the choir marching in. Even before covid, fewer and fewer churches even had a choir. They might do a praise team consisting of a few people and a band, but that's about it. I miss the days of the spirit breaking out and people dancing and shouting, with the sermon being so biblically sound and so thorough that I couldn't help but take notes. It was like being in a bible class where the passages I'd read before now were broken open to me with deeper meaning, and I saw and understood things I'd missed when I'd read those same passages before. I used to never want church to end because it was so awesome to hear God's word in such a deep way, and to see people genuinely experience the joy of the Lord. In so many places, church is so dead now, the only place my child gets to see these things is on youtube.
