Thank you for taking us along on your tour of vintage shops! I’m so happy that you panned the shelves slowly so that we could see the merchandise up close. I saw several items that would have come home with me! The town was beautiful and the food looked delicious, too. You two are the cutest couple. Congratulations on your 9th anniversary. My late husband and I were married 38 years; together for 45 years. Best husband in the world!

Oh my goodness! I ❤ all of these thrift shops. Thanks for sharing. Mom and I always pop into thrift shops and antique markets when we spot them on our travels. That is where we do our souvenir shopping. Happy anniversary! 🎉

I LOVE Nederland. I think I could live there. We’re still trying to decide if we should buy a small second home somewhere in Europe (I moved to the US when I was 19, in 1982). We still have family in Belgium, so we have places to stay there, but we dream about having our own little place to come to.

The Netherlands is lovely, and such a comfortable country, but also really pricey for housing. If you do decide to get a place, there are so many beautiful spots in Europe. It really makes all the difference when you have your own place to come to!

Happy anniversary!! Me and my Husband also got married while covid and would love to celebrate with friends and family at our rural land in spain ( that we don't have yet😂) Lets see when will this happen haha.. I hope we can start looking for land next year! Anyway I really enjoy watching your vlogs and can't wait to see you renovating your ruins soon💜 sending love

We’ve only been to the south of Spain so we don’t really know where we want to settle down yet but we’re planning a 2-3 months long trip with our Van 🚌 next years where we will be discovering different areas in Spain and see where we feel at home!! We definitely dream of buying something ancient and restore/renovate it ourselves to make it match our imagination of our dream home 😍🥰

Here in South Africa you have to travel far to the small towns to find any good thrift stores. ❤

Is that because in the big cities it's all over picked? Because I feel like that is also true in other countries we've lived in. I love making thrifting a day trip adventure 😊

Yes, all the good stuff is gone. There are also hardly any recycling places here, unfortunately.👍

Ah yeah, that sucks. In Spain we have the same thing, people barely get rid of stuff, but when they do there's no place to take it to that's not the trash..

Why don’t you want to live in the Netherlands?

We tried to, but with our salaries (at the time), the housing crisis and the cost of living, we weren't getting anywhere. Eventually we got tired of not being able to have our own home and of living to work 🙃
