You guys make me want to go thrifting, but I have limited funds; I love going anyway. I could afford that fireplace. I have always wanted one in our new 12 year old house. We built it and paid for it as it was being built. It took 5 years to complete, but it is paid for. My husband drew out the design. He passed away five years ago. It has been so difficult without him. I miss him so much.

I started collecting in college in the 70s. Yes, we looked up items in books, and they were fun yet always out of date. My dad passed this year, but one of my favorite memories are of going to thrift stores and flea markets with him. You and Debbie are so cute. This was fun!

At 42:13 there is a two tiered silver cookie tray from the 50s. I have one like it that belonged to my mom. At Christmas I display it on my buffet filled with her blue, silver and gold glass balls. So pretty and makes me think of her. Love your shopping trips!

I loved that grapevine rooster at Salvation Army and I have a couple pieces of that French Provincial furniture, a 6 drawer dresser and a small China hutch. I have 2 of those green boxwood wreaths, I put them out in the Spring. If I lived there I would be there every week! I thrift Starbucks mugs, it’s such a great deal compared to regular price. Y’all are my kinda girls cause y’all shop until you literally are about to drop! 😂 Debbie’s console table with those urn legs and that white tree in the bath with the cookie cutters is amazing!

The white chicken in the in the video with the hole in the top and the light. The ball in the bottom that's a candle melter. A candle warmer, you put your squares of candles in a little dish. You could always find the little dish it would sink in there. I even found one at the thrift store. Put that in there and put you can't squares in and let it melt. And it makes it smell makes the house smell good. I can't burn candles, but I can burn. The candle melts. Oh yes, I was there because I have chickens in my kitchen.
