Can we talk about your adorable cat? LOL Your cutter is an "ulu" - also known as "woman's knife" - an all-purpose knife traditionally used by Inuit women. Used for skinning, cleaning animals, cutting food, cutting hair, and sometimes trimming blocks of snow and ice to build an igloo. (a mezzaluna usually has two handles to use to rock back an forth, and more common more modern tool from the U.K.) excellent find!

The half moon knife you found is a Alaskan Ulu cutting tool.

Hi Chelsea, I know this is 1 year old video but just wanted you to know that the cutter that you’ve found is called Antique Half Moon Rocking Food Chopper and Dough Cutter with Wood Handle. It’s more a European piece. Could be from France, Italy, Germany, Spain , Portugal, who knows , but it is a very cool piece. I know that in France there’s still many people who still use it specially to cut dough.

I enjoyed seeing your thrift picks. I'm also in love with brown although more of the oil rubbed bronze variety and very dark ethnic carved wood pieces. Wanted to let you know that I've had good luck cleaning soiled lampshades. I scrub them with a mild dish soap and a soft brush, rinse them, blot them with a towel and let them air dry. Salt will often remove rust spots. The cleaned lampshades usually look like new! I avoid shades with dents because the dents show when the lamp is lit. Good luck to everyone!

I have always….LOVED BROWNS!!! Espresso Brown is my preference. It’s not as harsh as Black, yet still CLASSY!!!! Mixed with Bright White & Tans, it’s perfect!!!❤😊

I believe the bowls were priced separately and the plates were priced as a set. Sometimes the store has inconsistent pricing for sure!
