I'm excited to watch your video essay on inflation in the thrift store - I'm in the US and prices have gone up, but not as much as where you are! I can still find great pieces for $3 and $4 at my favorite shops. Idk how lower income families can afford clothes these days. Also I've read "My Year of Rest and Relaxation" and "Humans of New York" - glad you actually purchased the latter bc that one is so good!

girl ??? i just found your channel and oh my god it feels like i just discovered a new hidden gem, definitely gonna be devouring all you content aksjdndn also I would love to see that essay !!! i think a lot of thrifting youtubers kinda glance over the worsening prices and more focus on their hauls? and i live in LA which hooooo is very famous for the god awful thrift prices [i thrift a lot. or i try. it’s painful :’)]

save the queen is such a cool brand, i got a green long sleeve shirt for 4 euros in the thrifts here in europe but then i found another one which would have cost me way less but it was actually the ugliest shirt i have ever seen - just imagine the hippie + club aesthetics mashed together bleh. it was giving stoned granny in the worst way possible lmao... ur find looks cool tho :) keep it up

But the prices (in Michigan) are also getting kind of crazy, I've stopped going to some of my usual thrift stores because of it :/
