I love those kinds of hand held mirrors!! My mum has some that belonged to her mother and I use it when I stay with her. It has a beautiful lavender embroidery on the back 😊😊😊 Always love your videos, they never fail to make me happy!!! So, nobody is allowed except for the staff to go in the back of the store. I assume ( know) that she got paid by goodwill to do this vlog. Goodwill pays minimum wage in NJ $ 9.50 , regular employees have no vacation no sick days no health insurance , zilch just that $9.50. Stuff is overpriced, sometimes dirty with holes and it's outdated. If they have money to pay that girl and nothing for employees, then it rund on greed !

curated goodwill, aka upselling items to a wealthier population that was originally sold at a somewhat reasonable price. Nice!

charcoalveins I don’t see anything wrong with wanting to pay extra for something that’s curated- I worked quite hard to find every piece. If someone doesn’t want to pay more they can go to a regular goodwill and find things on their own. 😅

Additionally, goodwill runs amazing programs to help people with autism, mental illness, drug abuse, and so much more. They even have housing! So these proceeds aren’t just going to helping their employees- which btw, a large percentage of them suffer with the issues mentioned, but it also goes into sustaining these programs. So if my dollar ever goes to them, I know it’s helping someone else that truly needs it.
