"Come to Me" written together by Berry Gordy and Marv Johnson for Berry's first label Tamla. It got pressed on Tamla and two radio stations in the area played it. But to get national distribution, Berry signed a deal with United Artists to also press it and distribute it nationally. It then hit no. 6 on R&B charts. BIG for Berry. Essentially he presided over creating this record and he had been broke before this record. His first real foray into music producing, finding talent, writing good material that was nationally produced.
