COME TO WINDY CITY RIOT IN CHICAGO - WCR '24 Fundraiser | Aggressive Inline

Windy City Riot is the longest running aggressive inline street competition at 23 years this year!! The WCR team did a series of fundraisers and raffles to raise money for the event, and this was the third and final fundraiser. I was able to get away for a Sunday and slip over to the park to film some goodness.

Anyone have resources on skating bowls? Grinder blader here, this looks so fun but my transition skating isn’t so great, over shooting hip airs for example and just bottoming out 😂

My suggestion would be to carve the bowl as often and work on increasing your stability. Regular, fakie, and switch carving. Eventually, you’ll naturally learn how the ramp assists your movement as well as how they’ll launch you when eventually get some air. Takes a lot of practice to learn quarters for sure!
