During the main portion of the song where the lyrics are what are the chords I see them but they just don’t seem to sound right are using an alternate tuning

This is outstanding, how are you recording this to capture that so well? Absolutely brilliant

how can you play both tracks on same time again if you do a double tap (stop all) the right pedal. ex: on a live gig and you have a type of song to stop all tracks and play again both tracks? that's my concern and i'm planning to buy also the same unit. thanks in advance for the tip

Thanks for the kind words 😊 I can’t remember what P.A it was in all honesty, I recorded and filmed it at Pirate Studios in Reading and I think they have a Soundcraft?? We took the direct outputs from the desk and fed them straight into a Focusrite interface though which is the main reason it sounds so clear.

Hai, you are awesome mann!! I wish I can be like you or Ed Sheeran. Tomorrow I will buy this RC 30. can you tell me do you use pre amp or other to support RC 30 when record? thx
@SoundsOnSong5 жыл бұрын
Alexander Jennes I use the pre amp of my mixing desk for live and recording. I have an Alesis desk so run through that but only really for reverb/ effects. The RC30 has gain on its own mic pre and is not too bad but no control on the instrument input, if you have a good pre on your guitar then no real need for preamp apart from the reverb but in the end it’s all down to personal choice depending on how you like the sound.

Brilliant overall 👍 but there is one thing that I personally wouldve done. And that is to put a slight distortion on the guitar and stop the chords a bit earlier But this is great man you should be happy with this😀

had to come back and watch this again, great rendition -- question for you on the RC-30...my son is 7 and wants to loop and play, can the RC-1 do the majority of what you did here?
@SoundsOnSong3 жыл бұрын
You can’t do everything I do on this song with the RC-1 unfortunately. This is because the RC-1 is a single channel looper whereas the RC-30 is two channels. For Come Together I loop the beat on one channel and the guitar riff on the second one, this means that I can switch off the guitar riff when I need to so only the beat is playing ( you can hear it on the ‘hair down to his knee section). You can’t do that with the RC-1. Think of the RC-30 as two RC-1 pedals that are strapped and synced together. With the RC-1 you can loop as many parts as you want e.g. guitar, beat, handclaps, vocal harmonies etc but when you press stop they all stop. An example of what you can do with an RC-1 is on my Shape Of You video as on that song I only use one of the RC-30 channels. I hope this helps, I started playing guitar at the same age as your son so good age to start 😊 Thanks for watching

@@SoundsOnSong I keep coming back to this video. I didn't get the loop pedal yet as life has gotten in the way, but I am again researching and your RC-30 is unavailable these days. I am thinking RC-1, but what is the new 2 channel Boss model? The RC-5? Still confused but don't want to just settle on the RC-1. He likes the song Overpass Graffiti which based on your reply suggests a 2 channel looper again? Thanks.

Hey man I loved your video!! I was wondering if I could record a loop and once I finish recording it, instead of pressing play (playback or overdub), I could press stop, so it is recorded but not played back immediately, so I could use that recording further down the song, in bridge for example. Here's an example: I want to record the chord progression of my song's intro because it's the same progression as in the bridge of the song. I want to record the loop but don't want to play it back immediately because after the intro comes the verse, pre chorus, chorus, etc.... But that's the only place I can record the progression at.... This feature is helping me decide between this looper and Ehx 22500. Thanks a lot!!!
@SoundsOnSong4 жыл бұрын
mauricio méndez this pedal is great but it’s quite basic. It records two separate loops so theoretically you could do what you are describing but the loops can only be the same length so if your verse is a different length to the bridge then it’s not possible. You can record a loop then press stop then switch tracks and record another loop if exactly the same length. The tricky part when reaching the bridge would be stopping the verse loop then switching tracks to start the bridge loop as the time taken to do that would be noticeable. I have only ever used this pedal so not sure of the capabilities of others but you may need to look at another pedal with more looping functions but that may mean spending a bit more. I hope this helps

@@SoundsOnSong but if I don't need to record anything else but the intro, do you think it could work??
@SoundsOnSong4 жыл бұрын
mauricio méndez if you are just recording the intro to use later and not using another loop for verse, pre chorus etc then that is easy. You press the left pedal to start recording and the right pedal to stop the loop and the playback , the loop is then saved and can be started again by pressing the left pedal again later on
