Acadia National Park in Maine is also a great place to visit. I have relatives that live on the island, and the island - along with the park - is a fun visit no matter what time of year you get to go.

Mint would also love The Fantastic Umbrella Factory in Charlestown, Rhode Island. It's a bunch of different stores in different outbuildings scattered around the property, and there's even a bamboo forest you can walk around in. Totally look this place up, anybody who reads this. It is soooo worth the trip.
