I put together this compilation of pictures I’ve taken on my adventures over the years. These pictures and videos were taken with whatever version of iPhone I had at the time. I hope you enjoy these pictures (and short videos) as much as I did taking them!

Yeah it’s really cool! We didn’t do very well on that trip but we didn’t have much information on where to go, so we just joined the club and hit those claims. Next time it’ll be different! Thanks for watching and I’m waiting to see some of your vids! Hopefully soon?!

The last time we went to Quartzsite we took the 4x4 truck in really far ,after a day of prospecting was having some refreshments by a camp fire and an older couple on a side by side came and couldn't believe there was a camp so far back in😂 cool stuff!

😂 well that kinda reminds me that sometimes you can be very remote and yet still not completely ‘away’! I found a pull tab on a bench on the side of a ridiculously steep hill once! 🤔 Yes it was old, but dang I thought I was breaking new ground…

@@randystreasureadventures I hiked miles with a detector one time ,found nothing but a fired riffle bullet, then a few hundred yards away the casing that fired it🙄 if nothing else we would make great crime scene detectives 😆

@@andyamysarizonaadventures5450 right? Just ask Owen about my ADD! Every time we find a wash that has gold I always have to make at least one trip uphill. And of course you have to consider that there are two sides to every wash so I can’t just focus sometimes and just get the gold that is right there, lol! I am constantly working on knee strengthening exercises, because both of my knees have been dislocated multiple times, and those dang hill sides with the brush and the rocks and the unsure footing can sometimes mean that I will spend a week or two after I get back in pain with lots of swelling and stuff like that. But I can’t help it. I’m just driven to see what might be over the next hill. But having said all that, the patches that have been discovered by me, Owen and Curt typically have been on a hillside in a place you would not expect. So maybe sometimes we get reminded that we’re not the first one to walk an area, but it could be possible that we may look at it in a different way than the people that walked it before us, and maybe even a little blind luck sometimes means success.

@randystreasureadventures Chris Golson explained to me years ago that from like bumblebee on past where claim 7 area had old channels flowing over all that.I guess that's why basically anywhere you can a water worn nugget way on a mountain top or possibly what is thought of a patch from a up hill source the gold could have been laid in from somewhere else 😮

@@andyamysarizonaadventures5450 yes definitely! I’ve been up some hillsides, pretty high up and found river rocks. The whole geologic story of the desert is one of upheaval. So that’s why after reading so much and then having a little experience of going out there I’ve almost come to the conclusion that the gold could really be anywhere, and there may be indicators in the areas where you would be more likely to find it, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be on a mountain top.
Somebody found my nugget patch! 😮 Metal detecting Arizona gold with my Minelab GPX6000
