For me it's seen at 8:42. The 993 Turbo in Carmine Red behind the blue 964. I've always fancied the 993 era as it was driving one the got me the Porsche "itch".

Turns out that clean 996 interiors are aging very well thanks to a minimum of well positioned buttons. The green one you showed may be the nicest ever. Thanks for bringing it to KZbin. Nice vid!

Having watched your channel from the start, it was great to find the ‘real life’ Jay is just as genuinely outgoing and enthusiastic as the Jay I’ve been watching on KZbin. @@JAYREAD there is an annual one coming up shortly here in Minneapolis but I will miss it. I have been to a big gathering in Germany and the annual Porsche Club gathering in Sweden was also quite big.

I don't have quite the affection for the RS or GT3 that you do, Jay. In fact, I could never pull off driving anything with a whale tail or over-the-top spoiler. Don't like the looks of them and don't drive like an idiot such that I would ever need the added down force. Just not for me. But I sure do like the more 'under stated' cars! Nice video, Jay - thanks!!

I’m largely the same. The GT3 really is t my bag although a Carrera RS is a different kettle of fish. Much less shouty.

Love your video. I don’t quite understand why you proclame that particular RS model to be the father of the GT3? What about the earlier (and even more special) RS models?

Yes, fair point although there was quite a gal between the ‘74 RS and the 993 Carrera RS which I think is a lot more representative of today’s GT cars.
