Surprisingly the sea water Temperature off the West Coast of Ireland and the West Coast of the US are very similar always between 15 and 20 oC. This video is an accurate depiction of Ireland and speaks for itself. Had you spent time on the East Coast it is clearly much dryer with half the rainfall of the West Coast.
